Relearn is a finicky b. I’ve had it learn in 5 mins, I’ve had it take two days.
I believe its looking for a certain temp increase.
Is it cold as hell where you are?

did it ever read in dash?
Okay. Yes it is somewhat cold here. High of 40°F. Ive had the car 4 days and haven’t seen it read yet.

Thanks.

drop pressure a couple psi from normal and try it again from dead cold in the morning. Lower pressure should increase temp variance. If that doesn’t work its something else and I’m not sure outside of reregistering the IDs.

I drove 50 miles round trip up to the forest for a Christmas tree and still no TPMS numbers showing up. That and I found out the rain (snow) sensing wipers don’t work (the sensor was not attached to the windshield when i test drove it) so I think I’m heading to the dealer next week.

Good luck and get dealer recommendations unless you know yours.

Some people do this on purpose to convert their wipers to manual control. Might just need to reconnect it.

I need to find the procedure to convert. I’m not usually a fan of auto wipers. In my case, there’s no movement until I put it on full low (second stop).

I was able to use techstream utility to manually assign the locations for each TPMS sensor since they were already programmed but stuck in the “judging” mode. I dropped the pressure on each wheel to ID each sensor.

Now, 1-2 minutes after driving, voila!

The sensor wasn’t attached all the way. Auto wipers now work (and much better than on my prior cars).

I couldnt even tell it was off tbh until i really doubled back. If those stickers will last thats cool too.
Didnt know about those :) The "truck" bookmarks safari folder is valued at around $125k at the moment 🙃. Whats another $20?

Also, If you want OEM black lugs I think these are a pretty good deal:
PT076-0C200-02 Black PVD Lug Nuts
All the product pictures online seem to be wrong but I did confirm with the dealer that these should work with the trd wheels and have the flat washer.

Did you order these already? The part description says they are wheel locks. I’d avoid those if they are actually the keyed wheel locks.

I had the tire store put on five LT295/70R18 Wildpeak AT3W tires on the Tundra TRD rims mounted with Spidertrax 1.25" spacers. I removed the "mudflaps" and did some heatgun remodeling behind the tires and also removed the small 4" flaps in front of the tires that also rubbed. I still have some rubbing in the front when in reverse and when AHC is set to low, I pretty much cannot steer at all.

I ordered some Denso TPMS sensors from Rockauto but the FedEx shipment has been stuck in Elko for a week so I had the shop put in their aftermarket crap. Of course, after 50 miles, the TPMS light came on and checking via techstream shows the old TPMS codes are still programmed in. I planned on keeping the old rims with the snow tires for next winter and wanted new sensors that should last another 10 years instead of all the hassle of swapping over the old ones (that are 6 years old already). Ugh. I now have to decide whether to go back and have them re-scan the sensors they put on and program them myself via techstream and try to return the denso sensors if they ever arrive. Or, I can wait until they arrive, take them back, have the denso sensors put in and get my $400 back for the tire store sensors. What a waste of time.

Running this size in Falkens and extremely happy with them. You're going to love it

I went back to the tire store and after 5-6 tries, poor Antonio finally got the sensors programmed. He was so confused by the fact he couldn’t find a ‘Lexus’ listed under the various toyota models on his programmer tool.

This morning, I used the secret code to get into the menu to re-align the cameras with the slight lift the tires give and change the color of my LX. (*these aren’t the adjustments I actually ended on)

I also got underneath and moved the fender liners forward with new holes, trimmed the splash guard and the tires no longer rub.
