Looks great. The only option to keep this height is disconnecting AHS power while it’s in high I believe
It drives relatively poorly when it’s this high, partly because of the camber change with being so high, there’s not much down-travel left in the suspension and the damping is pretty stiff with the higher AHC pressure needed to keep they height. I bet there’s other ways to address these issues with changes like adding coil spring spacers and adjusting the alignment.

Yup. It's eye opening how much worse traction and putting down power is when the suspension is lifted aggressively. Yes alignment, but it's also the geometries and down angles of the suspension links. Mild lifts that keep the geometries in its sweet spot are the best kind of lift.

AHC Long Travel is the enabling mods to put AHC on steroids.

That's not really an effective strategy. Best to work with the system rather than against it.

Mr. Wayne got CarPlay for Christmas.

I had the tire store put on five LT295/70R18 Wildpeak AT3W tires on the Tundra TRD rims mounted with Spidertrax 1.25" spacers. I removed the "mudflaps" and did some heatgun remodeling behind the tires and also removed the small 4" flaps in front of the tires that also rubbed. I still have some rubbing in the front when in reverse and when AHC is set to low, I pretty much cannot steer at all.

I ordered some Denso TPMS sensors from Rockauto but the FedEx shipment has been stuck in Elko for a week so I had the shop put in their aftermarket crap. Of course, after 50 miles, the TPMS light came on and checking via techstream shows the old TPMS codes are still programmed in. I planned on keeping the old rims with the snow tires for next winter and wanted new sensors that should last another 10 years instead of all the hassle of swapping over the old ones (that are 6 years old already). Ugh. I now have to decide whether to go back and have them re-scan the sensors they put on and program them myself via techstream and try to return the denso sensors if they ever arrive. Or, I can wait until they arrive, take them back, have the denso sensors put in and get my $400 back for the tire store sensors. What a waste of time.

After a few years in the elements, the lexus center cap logo stickers faded to a nasty yellow so I replaced them with some chromed plastic logos off ebay that slot right into the holes the sombrero logo had occupied. A couple drops of superglue secures them well. They're not the clean reproduction up close but are fine from 5 feet.

Santa was nice to Mr. Wayne this year and installed some goodies to compliment the AHC sensor lift:

-20 mm rear coil spring spacers
-extended rear brake lines
-E&E off road rear lower shock mounts
-E&E off road front top hat spacers
-New AHC globes
-Perry Parts long-travel extended bump stops
-Complete flush and bleed of brake and AHC fluid

Partly because I already had other things in the cart from his site and I think the OEM spacer is 10 mm and his is 13 mm which is 3 mm more.
Fair point on the 3mm. 1:2 ratio wouls be 6mm usable droop I suppose? Do you know if you need to grind down any of the AHC fittings to install these?

What brand rear coil spacers are those... These?

No alteration of any AHC line routing or fittings was necessary. Just remove the two 12 mm bolts holding the fitting to the top of the shock and the fitting comes off. Minimal fluid came out. Just be sure to clean any dirt or grit that’s up there so you don’t accidentally contaminate the AHC fluid. It’s literally bolt on with the EE spacers.

Hey @Nothinghead where did you source your LC rocker panels for the Slee sliders?
Fred Anderson Toyota had the best deal at the time I got them:

75850-60040-C0
75860-60040-C0

I absolutely love the seamless look and the paint match is perfect as well.

Congrats on the '21. I'll be watching your build closely. I feel like I'm almost right where I want this LX to be. I wish there were better bumper options but the ARB Sahara without loops stays in my shopping cart. I've wondered about adapting a trail tailor hidden mount to go that route but I'm too busy.

Are you thinking of any PPF for such a clean rig? I've scratched mine up twice in the last year on scrub oak enough that my wife has suggested buying an 80 series for family wheeling around the mountains here to keep the Lexus shinier.

Yea I am, will likely revisit the condition of the paint overall once the weather improves. We've still got a lot of rain and yuk to go in the PNW.

Do you have a better link for those Lexus chrome logos? Did they come just as the chrome part, or attached to a center cap?

Trying to find the same ones for my TRD wheels.

Thanks!
