Gahd damn that is nice! #correctratio

Yeah man I have all new #hardlines for my rig and they just look so dang fine next to fresh satin chassis black. But yours is next level!

G'day style gurus. I have been contemplating wheels and tires. I have two sets of rims. The first set are the original split rims that I had sand blasted and powder coated a while back. The second set are 16 X 8 steel rims that came from an 80 series. These would obviously need to be sand blasted and powder coated. I cleaned up an old tire I had sitting behind the shed to use as a spare. I'm leaning towards the split rims. Let me know what you think??

For you are wise 73fj........... I shall seek your counsel and I will refuse to let the paint/plate struggle define who I am as a person......as man!

When I have a difficult decision to make I consult my snow globe.........and let the flakes fall where they may

x 2 on the splits. Get a set of 33 x 12.5's on the 80 series rims and keep em for your mid life crisis.

G'day Fellas, The 'splits' have it. And I didn't even have to consult the snow dome (Which would obviously have been my next course of action).

I got out into the shed tonight and stripped the rear axle. A couple of minor frustrations, rusted bolts here and there that needed to be drilled out. Using two 6mm bolts to remove the drums worked a treat.

Getting the cone washers proved to be a PITA, and I had to get pretty primitive with it. I then broke the two 6mm bolts trying to get the passenger side axle out, so I will have to drill those out at some point. You can see the end of the broken bolt in the second image.
