Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Many on here will likely say that what's in the photos isn't anything - but it's a start. The best way to avoid it is to not buy one that's lived it's life in Minnesota or other rust-causing environments. Besides that, don't drive it in rust-causing environments, treat all the places you can see and can't see rust (you know, like inside the frame rails), and just hope for the best. There's lots of ways to treat superficial rust like that, but it's like cancer - you've got to get down to clean, bare metal and recoat to kill it.

Found this one on Carmax this morning. https://www.carmax.com/car/26346801

2013, One owner, appears to have spent it's life in San Antonio. I went ahead and paid the $99 to have it transferred up to a store local to me, should arrive this weekend. Long service history all at Red McCombs in SA. Raditor was replaced in 2021 at the 78k mile mark. Is there anything else I should look be looking at on these older 200's besides the usual suspects like rust or radiator/coolant leaks?

Radiator was replaced but hopefully that was preemptive and not because the leaking radiator wasn't detected until the vehicle badly overheated. Not sure if / how you can verify that.

Basically saying that If I was in the market I'd be extra vigilant around UR head gasket stuff given the consequences of failure. I've never bought from carmax. Can you get an independent inspection done? Can you hook it up to a coolant pressure tester? Borescope each cylinder?

Good questions, I was already planning on having a PPI done. (If anyone can recommend a LC mechanic in the DFW area be my guest, otherwise I’ll just let my dealer do it)

Here are dealer notes from the service. Looks like they had to immediately replace the new radiator due to it leaking out of the box.

In Addison area there is Blanca’s Auto Shop. He worked on my 100 series. In Lewisville there is Mayo Automotive. He does a lot of work on Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Took my 4runner there several times and he did a PPI on a 200 series I was looking at as well.

2018 LC 200

In the market for a LC 200 series to add to my LX 100 and the wife's GX 460. Came across this one for sale at a local Land Rover dealership. Does anyone recognize this vehicle? Not crazy about the ARB bumper and I suspect it was replaced due to an accident on the Carfax report that indicates minor rear end damage. Servicing looks solid and it has spent its life in Texas.

Does anyone have a guesstimate on what the costs would be to buy, install & paint a replacement OEM rear bumper?

Any other thoughts on the this LC and pricing?

I don't see any link or photos.

I don't love that rear bumper. Otherwise, I'd like to see that priced at $50k or so but dealers gonna deal. This one doesn't have the rear seat monitors, so that's great in my opinion.

Fall 2019 it was listed for sale at $70k and 21k miles (see below) and it still had the original bumper. The rear accident occurred in 2020, so your thinking lines up.

Labor about $1000 with paint etc.

Urgh...talk about an ugly wheel cover. Also, IMO that rear bumper just does not fit if you have the OEM front one.

Buy @Fabrick old rig

Someone near me is offloading their '08 for $16.5k. Looks to be in good shape. This could be a decent find for someone trying to get into one of these earlier model dot 1 200 series. Seller claims its been well maintained and is open to offers FWIW
