Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

I guess we'll all see how long it takes a buyer to agree with your facts!

All I did was ask for opinions but I feel some are REALLY REALLY passionate about their answers. I have adjusted my price based on what I read and what I see in my local market and from ih8mud.

If I am wrong or if it does not sell then I will adjust my price accordingly, I am just a dude asking for info and giving my feedback on answers.

In the end I just hope to sell my truck and be back in another one if a few years :)

Anyway I do not want to derail this thread so I will stop.

I’m speaking for 200 series LC vs LX. And yes I did buy at peak but facts do agree.
If you paid top dollar for a 200 series truck with 150k miles 2 years ago, prepare to grab your ankles. The whole “overlanding” thing isn’t as popular on ticktock and social media, and I’m guessing all those hot “influencers” got tired of pooping at planet fitness and moved on to foot pics on only fans.

Just a theory. And I hope you sell your rig for $30k, that means my truck is worth more. Glws.

Haha I’ve been fancy car camping before it became a big mess/trend but all good. I’m receptive and open to everyone’s valuations, in the end vehicles are not an investment

It sucks that mods don't add much value. I think you have a fine rig and I'd be inclined to make you an offer if you were closer to Dallas. But thankfully you aren't cause I don't need anymore vehicles!!!! Advertise on CL and Facebook, someone will buy it.

If I want a rust free and really clean interior with no stains/smells and very little wear. What year and mileage should 40k get me? I don't care about any options not sure what they came with but I'd rather have a base with less miles or a newer model year.

Not getting a 2016+ for that money unless it has 200k miles (which I haven't seen much of).

That should get you a 2013-2015 at like 110-150k maybe and a 2008-2011 at like 80-120k.

Something like that.

Comparing apples to apples, I'd take this one....for low $20s :)
Unless you really need the 2013 safety features, '11 and newer has some pretty good value. $30K would get you 08-11 with 150K miles and pretty clean. This one is an example of something you could buy right away, but it is a repeatable deal. $40K is a 2013 w/ 100K miles.

Not purchased by me, but this was sold at the asking price ($31,900):

2013 LX570 w/ 125k on it, no rust. Service records every 5k miles.
This feels like a pretty good deal! Hopefully within the next 6 months this is replicable for LC's as well.

I agree. I reached out, but ended up not making a deal after it felt like he was a bit too, "take it or leave it, don't inconvenience me". Obviously, he did have someone willing to pay full price, but just wasn't for me. Hoping it continues. There's another similar '14 LX in SC for $32k, so hoping we're getting back to some sense of normalcy.

What'd the undercarriage look like? 10 years in PA = :poop:
