Not sure if it was a decent deal or not but I just picked up southern 09lc with 2 owner history, clear carfox, zero rust with 158k for 29. Seller said both radiator and starter have been replaced. Extensive and consistent service history.

Seems good. I passed on a 08 with 137k Sonora Gold in the SF Bay Area for 30k. Was sunbaked in spots and the interior had some damage, but otherwise ok. Had a lead acid battery leak that corroded under the tray.
Yea I'd never be able to do old man gold (or black). This one was white which is one of the two colors I wanted so I guess it worked out.
Was this the one at Toyota of Marin?

Wanted some input from the brain trust. I have a 2008 LC with 225k miles which is currently located in BC. Was originally a US car that was imported into Canada. Would like to swap it for a 2016+ LC. Given it was never sold here, only enthusiasts are familiar with it and pricing can be funny especially when 225k Miles translates to 362k KM's. Is selling in Canada the best option and potentially attracting both Canadian and US clients?

106k reserve not met.
I’d venture a guess at BaT or Cars&Bids it would have gotten more confident, aggressive bidding.
I’d have expected $130k even though I think $106k+ is really fair valuation.
Prices for 200 series in my area still going very high, I might throw mine on FB Marketplace as I’m the only one fully baselined and modded

Is that half the vin tag missing? Then you only get half of what you want. Joking of course, but you should disclose what the story with that is to get a better idea and make it fair to potential buyers' time. Those VIN tags they don't just fall of like that.
