I used Mosley and got all new oem Toyota foam as well. Very happy with them so far! I did heat seaters and went with the OEM JDM switches also!

This looks great. I ordered a kit in oak through Mosley a couple of days ago. Rob at Mosley is very helpful. I'm trying the heater/cooler option so will see how this goes. I hope it looks this nice but with perf'd panels.

I Reached out to Catskinz today for Quote for Factory Replacement of 2 Front Grays Seats in 1996 FZJ80

New Leather in Same Color as OEM,

Foam added to Bolster Sides.

Certified Installer is 45 mins from my Location

That's so s***ty of them. They basically acquired Roadwire and doubled the price. I got 2 rows INSTALLED from Roadwire for $1799 in dark brown leather with custom stitching, including all armrests, center console, and door panels.

I have had modest success through the years on the steering wheel with Fiebing's Black Leather Dye in several coats followed by their clear gloss acrylic. The clear acrylic gets reduced 50/50 with water. It takes several coats of the dye to achieve an even color.

I had my Mosley seats installed back in May and I’m having the leather gather in a couple of places. This is what it looks like now - anyone experiencing a similar issue?

Butt Prints! How was our Original Foam? Did you Replace or Add?

No easy Solution now unless you could shrink that Panel some How??

To add another data point to this thread, I just had Katzkin leather installed in my LX450 this past Monday. 1st row only, as I don't have any other seats in the truck. Went with "coffee" full leather seats, headrests, armrests, center console.
$1807.29 out the door.
Here's one bad photo of the driver's seat. Too cold out.

How much of the outcome is in the installer?
Combination of the installer and product. What I like about Katzkin is they include installation in the price, and only use their network of installers.
My installer was in an industrial part of town and looked pretty shady to me. However the reviews were all excellent, and as I drove up, my LX450 was the runt of the litter amongst a smattering of exotics. The guy in the Maybach wasn't thrilled that I parked next to him.

Ugh, so it sounds like there is little chance of going around them on seat heater prices. $695 is a bit much in my book, I also want to use the factory wiring and switches now that I know they exist.

I had my seat heaters installed when I did the LSeat leather and new bottom and back foam about 9 or 10 years ago. I specifically told the installers not to do any electrical. I just wanted the heating pads installed properly under the leather. I place limits on anyone who works on my truck, and I do all electrical installs.
The LX450 doesn't have the OEM seat heater wiring in place, so I made my own using OEM switches.

For those that care, here are 2 reasonably high res pics in better lighting of the newly recovered seats.
Now that it's out of the 20s, the leather is super soft and snuggly comfortable when warm. I hope they last.
Yes, I know I have to clean the interior and vacuum after winter. No, I didn't bother to recover the center row armrests. And yes, I suppose I'm bragging a bit.

Jon,

You deserve to brag! Nice job. What did you do about seat foam? I now have a July 1 deadline in front of me and need to get busy.....finishing steering knuckle today hopefully!

Thanks for photos.
