Monstaliner first done in 2015 then redid most of it in 2023. The original stuff is still holding up well and the new stuff is holding up just as good. I prepped the flatbed with their primer and rolled everything on.

Here’s a pic of our dirty 80… Monstalined with rollers and cut in brushed.

I also Monstalined my FJ62. That’s been 5 years ago, I think and there are pictures of it above in here somewhere, I think.

But, 5 years of road salt had led to bubbles and rust issues again… going to cut it out, put in new steel… sand the whole thing down… again.,, and re-Monstaline.

In that rebuild, I’m going to spray rather than roll it on.
I am curious how the cut in works. I am planning on doing my ambo by either rolling Monsta or spraying Raptor. Did you just use foam applicators to do the cut in and how did that blend with the rolled areas?
Also, did you use liner in the door jams or did you get their colormatched paint?
Maybe I will give you a call and talk to you about the experience. I think @radioridge did his 80 with rolled Monsta as well. Same color as yours. Twinzzies.

I don’t know what brand liner it is, but @Old Nick ‘s green rig that’s lined, looks awesome. He said he rolled it.
It was done in Monstaliner too. I love the stuff.

Absolutely. Feel free to ring.

For the cut in, I used a 1 1/2” brush but instead of “brushing” it on, I “dabbed it on to mimic the roller… and I rolled over the dabbed in strokes as close to the door handles, etc., as possible.
