Lots of crashes in regular ForumRunner and the new app all over MUD today.

TUT consistently failing.

I sometimes get a message that the server sent unparseable data.

I haven't had any crashes, and have been able to open tut yesterday and today without issue. I wonder if there is some data issue with your carrier or an issue with your specific phone. Are you stock?

Not stock. I am rooted and running a custom ROM. However, I've never ever had a crash with ForumRunner before I tried the IH8MUD app and I've used it a lot with this exact phone config.

I suspect that the problem is on the server side, i.e. the plugin that woody has to run on the server to support ForumRunner. I am assuming that it had to be tweaked to support the new custom app.

Or it could be a carrier problem and the timing is coincidental.

Today TUT is causing the

"The remote server sent an unparsable result. This could be a result of the forum software plugin being outdated."

error message with ForumRunner and the IH8MUD app both. They aren't crashing now though. Every other thread I try works fine.

It only loads a page at a time though, and if it was a link it would be on a page way in the past now that's not loaded. I'll try some other long threads, hold on... TUT #78 also gives the error, but not The Ultimate Fishing Thread or The Ultimate Android Thread, which are pretty long. I wonder if it has to do with the name of the thread, it's got a # sign in it every time...

Found it. The presented forum hierarchy is misleading. There is a bunch of stuff inside "Toyota Tech" that is not, including the social forums.
