Aaron...a reccomendation- after driving my cruiser with the alum tub.... if you dont mind making an "aftermarket" weld...Ive noticed that there is a weak point where the tub meets up with the front cowl...I am planning on welding a support beam in the engine bay from the frame to the backside of the cowl so it doesnt bend around. To clarify its not the alum that is bending but the steel cowl. When i go over bumps it seems to have a bit of play. Just thought Id Give you the heads up on a potential problem.

Garage looks sweet.

Thanks Eli!!! got any pics of where you are talking about???

a little update... had my 10 year class reunion on friday night so that shot sat. morning also... hung over ;) did start triming out the windows on saturday afternoon and then pretty much finished them up by sunday evening... they look nice, all metal around. took me what seemed like forever on the first one but each one got better.. Finished triming around the lift. it also looks great.

Last night Wheeler and Carder and I put up half the wall tin... it went up ok for the most part... was kind of a bitch around the windows and the ends where you have to get it in the J channel and in the window J channel at the same time... but it looks nice...

Got to spend some time the rest of the week to finish triming around the big door. I ordered that on monday and they will be here probably in a few weeks to throw that in there... I actually hired that done, not going to mess with it.

Hoping to finish inside tin by end of next week....

more pics to come soon... garage door is in and I am putting up siding... about 1/2 done with that.... but I got the high stuff left so I am assuming it will take longer...

my cousin came out to run the power off the meter to the garage... ran into a few snags with how the PO ran power to the house so we have to redo some stuff.. waiting for the MN state inspector to Ok our plan... then there will be light...
