Like I said, I was surprised. But there is a lot of metric stuff on 'Merican junk.
I had mine made up at the local CarQuest store and they do not carry anything exotic.....believe me. Used 2 90* fittings to keep the hose away from the header.

Amazing it "worked" by "worked" I mean that the mini hose threaded right into the Sag pump. Of course I won't know if it truly worked until I put the fluid in and try it out. I'm aways away from that, but will let you know. Thanks, you may have saved me some $$$$ as the hose place here in town was going to charge between $50 and $70.

VINDICATED!!!:D

BTW, my hose was <$25.........custom made

My new stock 60 series high pressure line threaded directly into my saginaw pump and into my 60 series box.

Thanks! I can go to bed now. We've established reasonable doubt.......;)

lol

snuggling ;)

The adapters are different, but they can work..

Metric
low Pressure Port - 16 x 1.5 MM Inverted Flare to #6 JIC Male adapter, Toyota - 'PSC Motorsports' #PSC-SF06 or 'Summit Racing' #EAR-9919DFJERL
high Pressure Port - 17 x 1.5 MM Inverted Flare to #6 JIC Male adapter, Toyota - 'PSC Motorsports' #PSC-SF07

As I understand it the larger port is the press side.

Or
LEE MFG. CO in Sun Valley CA
818-768-0371
has
16mm x 1.5 inverted flare to #6jic for the return side and
17mm x 1.5 inverted flare to #6jic for the press side for
$8 each

Sag pump
pump side is 5/8 x 18 inverted flare to -6jic

Alright, just seeking clarification here Mace - in some places of the above listed thread you are saying the pressure side is 17 mm, and other places you are saying the pressure side is 16 mm.

Which do you believe it to be?

Thanks!

The outboard fitting is the high pressure side. I think that is the smaller of the two. I am too lazy to go and check;)

Go back and look at my pic, mine works:o

So....

Are the fitting sizes the same for a 60 series gearbox?

I *believe* they are, but since the parts are in the washer right now and I haven't actually screwed them into the gearbox, I just wanted to check.

I can substantiate it now. The stock 40, mini truck and 60 series gearboxes all use the same fitting sizes.

I can't say for certain about the LHD IFS trucks, but at least the fitting from an RHD IFS truck (LN-130 Hilux Surf) are also the same. In fact, I took the fittings from the scraps of the LN-130 half cut and cannibalized those to make the PS lines today. So, I'd say with 99.9% certainty that you could also use the fittings from an IFS truck.
