Hey Milo

Just read thru your whole thread mate, nice work, looking good :)

Looking good dude...
The boat still getting pounded with snow? Haven't talked to the SIL/BIL in a bit but seems like you guys get everything that misses us.

Greg- bit of snow this past week. we've had a good season so far. there's a 100 inch base at the summit.

cheers

- Milo

Just got around to installing a WagonGear tailgate on my FJ60.

pretty easy install, really cool storage solution on the 60.

Hey Milo, gonna be out in the boat Sept 16th-22nd. Bringing the mtb and fly fishing stuff. If you get a chance and are around would love to see your truck and shoot the *#$% over a beer or two. Apparently you guys have some new breweries in town?

Thanks Mohavus

few things in the works coming up, hopefully a Baja rack and a Tepui tent soon. Cheers

FOR SALE!

PM me if you're interested.

1984,

129,900 miles. Not even 130,000 miles on this rig!!

lots of choice parts, OME Heavy suspension, Jim C Carb, recurved Dizzy, Desmog, fully rebuilt knuckles etc, the list goes on. GREAT truck.

cheers!

Deploying again? Don't know how much you have been in town but Alli and Brian are having twins in a few weeks so Mike and I will be out to help finish a few things up at the school next week. Would love to see your truck while I am out there if I can arrange it, just to see unfortunately not to buy.

Greg, PM sent

been doing a bunch of work on my 60 lately, going through desmog stuff again,

Broke a motor mount out on the trail, so replaced both with OEM mounts

replaced my fan clutch with an OEM unit

replaced a bunch of cooling hoses all with OEM parts

found i had 2 failed VCV's , got 2 new ones coming from Beno.

Adding BVSV1 back into the circut, that should help cold weather driveability this winter. If you are BVSV'less like i am and drive in the cold, even with a ported vac source it can be hard to keep the engine running when you first set out..

found my intake / exhaust mani gasket had failed pretty badly, so replaced that with OEM toyo gasket and had my mani milled flat, sealed nicely now - likely for the first time ever since i did my original desmog back in 2009.

did a lean drop on the carb, adjusted idle and fast idle, reset timing,

all new Old Man Emu suspension bushings.. tossed in some LED cargo and dome lights .

shes driving like a new truck again!

oh yah, decided to keep her around a while. too much fun and too much time invested to let her go at this point.

got a brand new oil pan too, because even though i did the gasket years ago and its holding 100%, its starting to leak badly from the welds on the skid plate.

brand new OEM pan coming from Beano this week
