matlca.com is better in my opinion ...

I think when you do something outside of .com it gets confusing and complicated.

When we had 757offroad.net it was always a second, huh? say that again? what was that? You really want something easy for the average to say and hear. I do like alca.us but I think its too different.

We always talk this way, as a band, when it comes to song, album, and band names.

JMO ... :D

matlca.com is good with me. I'm kind of in the market for a cheap 60. I just can't see me smacking the side of my fiberglass of my 40 on rocks.

Six. Wes and his wife, myself and Clark, and Green73 and his buddy. Sorry about the lack of real or screen names guys, it takes me a while. Four trucks made it, Wes and his 40, his wife had the 100, Green73 in his 80, and I had the 60. Had a guy in a 4runner honk to say hi. Hopefully more can make it next time.

What the heck! Wow! this thread has gotten long. I missed out on the meeting:frown:. So when is the next meeting?

I don't know I thought about going to obx next weekend with the wife but i think we have to much going on. I did buy a fj-62 over the weekend and it can cruise 75mph easy.

1988 with auto tranny with overdrive. I bought it close to DC. This weekend, Cheap wheeler that i don't care to much about getting banged up. How, that was a hard one talking the wife into it.

I'd been wanting one for awhile and was going to be my next cruiser. The dogs love it.

I have to do a few things to it to get it ready for inspection. Parking brake doesn't work, side marker light doesn't work and I need to check the brakes. I do want it to be SOA one day.

AWESOME! I will help on that swap ... I want to buy one too, but want a manual. Is it a diesel? I don't know what years are diesel, what the first years are, blah, blah ... I should go research ..... hehehe ... Cool man, lets take it out :D

diesel? None sold in the US were diesels. The only diesel here are swap outs or some how getting pass the system. I would love a diesel one but they cost big money.

If you want a manual there is one in PA right now that is red and has a h55f already in it. 5speed low 1st with over drive. It is $2000. That transmission is almost that much.

sweet looking rig Wes. Congrats!

Nice job, man. I understand the wife thing. Getting her to let me keep mine took some SERIOUS negotiating!

Hey Rob I'll update the site about the free stuff, if you want I can put a pic with it if you want.

Anyone know of a good place to take a bad alternator to get rebuilt around here? That FJ-62 alternator with internal voltage regulator is a lot more $$$ than my 40's.
