Thanks, Wes. I don't have any place to store them, so they'll be installed until I have a taker. I'd sell them, but meh, what goes around comes around. I don't want them so may as well give them to someone who can use 'em. I'll try to remember to send you a picture tomorrow if it doesn't rain. They're gray, in pretty good shape except the storage hooks have bent straight with cracked plastic.

Wes, thanks for updating my rig pic!

Anyone know of a good place to take a bad alternator to get rebuilt around here? That FJ-62 alternator with internal voltage regulator is a lot more $$$ than my 40's.

IIR, Clark mentioned a place in Norfolk that rebuilt one, increased it's output for @ $50.

Yeah, that's right. I was hoping to take it today. I hope he gets on here and post up. I never know when to call him cause he does work nights.

Hey that gives me an idea for the site. A cruiser friendly shops locations in our area.

At lunch i'm going to take my alternator to Ace Rebuilder Inc. 2 guys and my office recommend it saying there good and good on prices. I called them up. and a total rebuild would be $145 max, but mine should be cheaper i'll probably just have the voltage regulator done or diode replace. I called toyota they want $279.44 for one. Oh here is their info. Yahoo! Yellow Pages - Ace Rebuilder Inc

The website's lookin' good!

I have an "event" to add if you guys are interested. The last weekend in June, ONSC's will be coming up my way for a trail ride/camping trip.Stocker friendly. Ya'll are welcome to come along.:) We're looking at doing a three day weekend of riding, camping/fishing and probably a river float on the James.

Interesting, Where is it located?

I'm still working out some of the finer details. Initially I was considering checking out Crozet, but I don't think there's enough for the stock guys to do there to be worth it. We'll prolly stick to the GWNF/Crabtree area. I have access to some private land that we might check out too. Chris "Fedyschen" went with me the weekend before last to the private land. It's a fun stocker ride.

Well the alternator shop told me it's a bad regulator and it would be about $50. That's pretty good considering that the cheapest regulator at advance auto is $69.

And a HELL of a lot better than $279.44! Holy cow! I guess you gotta pay to play.

We'll if anyone needs to have the webpage updated i'll be able to do it for a few more hours. I'm leaving for work for a few weeks. On most trips I make I would be able to keep up with the page but not this one.

That event sounds fun. What was the date on that? I would love to join you guys...

If anyone one from the 757 area wants to go to the meet in June around Scott's (highlandcruzer's) I am pretty sure I will be headed up there for that. It would be cool to have a convoy of cruisers rolling up 64-- slow, but cool

That would be sweet! Let us know when details arrive.

and Wes, sorry I havn't been on lately. I will purchase the domain name soon, and let you know. Unless you already have that taken care of?

So it's Openads right?

NIIIIIIccee .... I want a 60 ...

Question? Probably Dumb too?

Why does everyone block out their plates in the pics. What difference does it make if somebody knows what you're plate number is?

Just Curious

My wife didn't want to get this rig. We went to coco beach FL and did some kayaking and my wife wanted kayaks. Now the 60 is the official kayak delivery vehicle and my wife likes it. I'm trying to convince here the kayak vehicle needs an ARB front bumper to strap the front of the kayaks down.

For me personally, I like to give out the least amount of personal info as possible but if my tags gets on the internet no real big deal.

Hey guys... I live in Smithfield VA... I have a river rock green 100 series that I've been putting some money into... I did a trip to Uwharrie, NC with a group of 10 guys a few weeks ago... Great trip and the first time I've had the Cruiser wheelin on an organized trail system like they have up there... Everyone had a blast... We a planning a trip to Crabtree falls soon before it gets too hot to camp... Most of the other guys have jeeps that I went with last time but I went on everything they did with no lift yet... I do have 32" mud terrains which helped...

Anyway I am on the 100 forum quite a bit and I'm on line all day since I do IT work...

Here is a couple pics of Uwharrie.... I also go to the OBX all the time....

I love the 100, but don't like the Background Heeps ... I want to take a trip to Corolla soon. Maybe MATLCA should plan a trip :D ... It's fun there. And I'm down for Crabtree, as long as gas isn't 5.50 a gallon by then ...

Love the 100 man ...

-Josh

P.S. Uwharrie looks fun, I need to get with the program and start going on some trips :bang:
