awesome start wes1977. I don't really have any ideas for a background. Were you thinking toyota related or something to do with VA?
Maybe a little of both

should I put under the title something like virtually located in Hampton Roads?

would Mid-Atlantic be better for knowing where we are?

sucks to lose a fellow 40 guy. If I were you I'd keep my eye out for those nice 40's in CA to buy.

Scott(Highlandcruzer) that's a nice looking cruiser

Webpage

Thanks!

BTW, I was just on another site and noticed a club called Mid-Atlantic Toyota Crawlers. :hhmm: Name too close?

I don't know anything else about them. Here's a pic......

EEEgggggggggggg .. That sucks ... I think we should go East coast, or something that has to do with coastal ... Because, we want NC coast, and Eastern shore, also sussex areas to richmond kind of ... We should stick to the immediate coastal regions but stretch up and down Virginia and NC ... But i like Association at the end .... The site is still an awesome start ...

Anyone think of a meeting place? Maybe next weekend, or is that too soon?

I think i'm free next weekend

I could put east coast in there

I'll try to put some thought in the name. :hhmm:

"Tidewater" ? :meh:........I guess you guys are thinking bigger.

"Atlantic"........

Maybe Cruiser specific? It appears from the pictures, that those guys are mostly mini's.

"Atlantic Coast Cruisers"..........

Mid Atlantic Cruiser Association?

Hey highland, what are the trails like up there? About how far of a drive is it from VA Beach?

Hey guys, sent Wes a so so pic, I'll try and get a better shot this weekend. I put the contact info request in to my buddy who's friend runs the cruiser tours, and will pass it along when it comes in.

As far as a name goes, how about Colonial Land Cruiser Association? All areas included have historical reference to that era.

Next weekend is busy for me, but depending on when and where I'll try and make it. I'm glad that others are enthusiastic about this and things are starting to roll.

I like the colonial sound, but I definitely dig the Mid-Coast Cruiser Association better ...

Your pics didn't post bud, was that a joke? hahaha ... I've been wanting to come up North to wheel for a while, but have not received any specific trailheads ...

I am bringing my 40 to California with me. My parents will get my 80 for a while. If I get another Land Cruiser I want, in this order: 70 series, and a 55, are the next ones on the list. Once my DD truck is paid off I am shopping for one of the new Dodge Challengers though.

There are a couple FJ40 guys up here in the Hampton/Newport News area. I'll link them here.

Tell me what you think of the how to join area? is it ok is what i'm asking? or what I should say insteed of?

You know what I'm thinking..

On the members page we should use the pics, as a link to the 1h8mud page, or the members 1h8mud photo page. Also, I think we should include the city we are located. MO

You can also reference new members to our clubhouse on this forum, when we get that up ...

Sorry I'm thinking too fast ... Would it be too much to ask to meet at Mt. Trashmore? Who's up for that ... Or closer to the tunnel, like the Mcarther center rooftop :D

If mine will fit in the garage!

good ideas. I created a album and linked mine to that. Let me know where you guys want to be linked to because I bet you all don't have albums or photo garages.

this is my link to my album https://forum.ih8mud.com/album.php?albumid=36

Have we talked with woody on trying to get our own club forum?
