Got them...Just thinking about the finish. Thanks Metal Tech 4X4.

Not at all. Are you talking about touching up small chips and trail damage (scuffs down to the metal)? Liquid touch up paint sticks to powdercoat just fine.

You can obviously paint over it but it will not 100% match the same way as removing the sliders and re powder coating them.

This is why people rattle can them. When they get damaged, re prep and re rattle can and it will match (as long as you use the same paint)

A month later, I finally got them installed! They are super solid. Prep wasn't too crazy. It probably took a couple hours in total to prep and paint them.

I do have a question in terms of install. Are these supposed to be touching the pinch welds at all? I'm not sure if I can move it forward or backward a little bit to help it not touch the pinch weld. It really only touching on the rear driver part.

Looks great!

You'll want them to not hit the pinchweld. I believe in the front, the plastic cover will hit a bit unless you want to get crafty with a heat gun. Give some wiggle room for flex and shoot for a consistent gap + no hitting of pinchwelds and you'll be sitting pretty. I can snap some pics of mine tomorrow when the sun is back up if you'd like. Note that mud accumulating on the top will trap moisture and promote corrosion... so, don't be lazy like me!

Mine touched (GX) the pinch seam on the rear support legs and made a horrible noise on washboarded roads, I had to shimmy mine (rear) down a scosh. You don't want them touching. Esp if taking it off road, the body will flex in the mounts, in relation to the frame/sliders.

That would be helpful. I'm not quite sure how I can adjust them. The passenger side is pretty even fitment all the way across.

Okay definitely something I will take care of before giving them any real use.

Here they are mounted after powder coating. I have to say at first glance I like the way they fit and look. They are as beefy as I will ever need.
