Taking the test tomorrow - wish me luck!
Promise the tester some groupies and you can't lose! They'll give you world wide privileges. In any case, I know you'll do well. Have a big cup of high-caffine coffee in there, it improves cognitive performance 20%. They won't ask the tricky double-negative questions anyway.

Looks like I can't come this weekend folks. My wife, Willy, is quite sick with post-surgery complications and I must be with her. A case of Murphy's Law: whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. Anyway, hope you all have a great time.

Bill, what surgery did she have?
She went in Monday for knee replacement. The surgeon f**ked up and left a staple pinned to the drain tube. Now they can't pull out the drain tube so they're going to have to open her knee up again tomorrow morning. Then she couldn't do physiotherapy and the knee is stiffening up because you have to exercise it right away. She couldn't because of the tube binding up. Then she got a blood clot on her lung today and they had to do something at another hospital, I think an angioplasty and blood thinners. One thing leads to another, but I think she'll be OK eventually if they don't f**k up again.

I can take look for my old portable hand held, cigarette plug, telescoping mag mount emergency unit - if I can find it you're welcome to borrow it. Slightly better than nothing...

Thanks Jeff & Becky. She may come home tomorrow, but she's still pretty weak. I want to get her out of that place before they screw up again. I met a young guy in there who was in for a hip replacement with the same surgeon as her. After his surgery, they dropped him on the floor by accident and had to re-operate to try to fix the damage. His familly is considering a law suit.
Whats the name of this hospital..just for future reference, so I dont ever go there!

Well, its sort of like the River Rock Casino. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not. If your hip is f**ked, then you just have to take a chance and hope for the best. My wife is home now, but she just wants to lay in bed. I've got to pry her out of there and get her moving. Tough love! Besides, I want her to crank up the oven and make a calazone. My cooking is making me sick!
