From the research I did the EZ-Slide coating, because it's basically graphite, forms a bond with the iron molecules in the cast iron. Time will tell how it holds up in actual driving conditions.I rebuilt my manifold assy about 10 years ago now, and at the time I used POR15 Manifold paint on the Exhaust. I had to remove the assy recently, so I thought I would recoat it, but am looking at alternatives... I do live in So. Cal and the mileage is low, and there is small sections of rust peeking out, but the POR15 did hold up surprisingly well for this amt of time.
However, I understand it's very easy to touch up the Graphite spray by just respraying the areas that need it.
