I can run regular 85 octane gas since my TRD SC is only at 5 - 7 pounds of boost. I commonly go from 4,000 to 12,000 feet on the different trips that I make. I can't speak how it will work at lower elevation. IIRC the kit said that you could run regular gas. Regular gas at sea level is 87 octane. It is higher since you have so much more air to breathe.

If you run an intercooler or are water injected like CDAN you can still run regular gas with reasonable (<8 lbs.) of boost.

Do you have an 93 or 94 cruiser with a super charger? just bought one and need some advice with the install.

If this is still going down, I would likely be in esp if it's in Cdan's 3850 range

is there a flow chart for this super charger, im wonder what CFM's it's blowing with the stock wheel and 1 size smaller.

Did the group buy happen? Still in the works?

Group buy is over. @2fpower is now a Magnuson dealer and will sell them at a reasonable price just a little above CDan's estimate.

I think everyone involved in the group buy was very pleased with the experience of 2fpower as a dealer. Out of the 20-25 people that had expressed interest only 11 actually ponied up the money. I'm not sure if another group buy deal could be put together.

I spoke to Magnusson the other day. They did not sound reassuring. They have made additional runs before. It is low likelihood but the squeaky wheel gets the grease..

Set up a big group buy with deposits and they might.

Or look into what comes of the bolt on turbo thread.

If you don't require emissions testing, wait for the bolt on turbo. The 1fz-fe begs for one as much as the rest of us do!

What's the story on the bolt-on turbo? Anyone have a link to a read-out/details?
