Looks like ill buy a bender and build them myself!

I wonder how hard itd be to freight to the states
Because I'm fair certain im.notnthe only one wanting these but i bet most owners are stateside lol.
I agree, there are a ton of owners looking for this. Now that the lx has some age on it more people are interested in putting them in the dirt. It's crazy this hasn't been tended to.

Not sure what the status of Slee's LX sliders are. I just know he has made them for his shop LX.

I talked to slee today, he said they are trying to get them done and might have sets available in 4-6 weeks.

I'm considering taking an angle grinder to the LX570 all in one rocker trim running board and cutting off the step portion. I have a black version, so I think it'll be pretty easy to patch and repaint. It gets hidden / shadowed by the sliders anyway. What could possibly go wrong?

The cheapest I can find the LC rocker panels is $500 (for both L and R) shipped.

A friend up here saw a LX570 with Metaltech sliders on it.

This is good news that the Slee sliders will be shipping soon too.

Go for it! I would love to see how that looks because if it looks good, I will do it too. I'm also thinking of just leaving it as is without the rocker panels with the steps removed.

I emailed with John from metal tech and he confirmed the TLC 200 sliders will not fit the 570. Someone must have made em fit.

I guess so. I didn't see the truck, so it's a bit second hand. But the source knows TLCs well, and has owned four or five 100s. For a bit Metaltech was looking for a fitting victim (not sure where I read that). If I can get rid of these running boards I may drive it down and take the train back; that is if they're still looking. Sliders are my next things, as soon as I get my tires straightened out, and swap in the hepa cabin filter for my wife.

I'd like to see pictures of the Slee sliders installed on a lx570 with both the rockers removed and with them ground / trimmed when available.

Out of the horses ass. :) We have the sliders in stock. Right now we are finalizing installation instructions how to fit them on both the 200 and the LX570. As soon as they are done, we will start shipping.

Christo, did you have to remove the protection for the AHC. Looked like it in the shop truck photos.

Yes, the tubular rails under the ahc bits need to be removed to install the LX sliders.

Here it is on a black LX

Oops. Yes, with TLC parts in place of the integrated lx panel sidestep

So I found a source for the tlc rocker trim for $200 each. That means if my hackin on the running boards fails I have a not cheap, but not heartbreaking expensive fix available. So I ordered this and am taking the sawzall to them this weekend.

The current plan is the disassemble as much as possible, and lop off the remainder. I assume this will leave a hollow upside down v shape. I hope to grind the edge, then have the piece wrapped in black.
