LX470 Lower Rear Quarter Removal Issues? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone on here has attempted to cut out the lower rear quarter and welded something in place of it (i.e. flat plate)? If so what are/were some issues that you ran into?

I understand there might be a drain that will need to be rerouted.

I took a look at the 80 series post regarding the high clearance rear bumpers. The end looks different on the 80 than it does on the 100 series (80 series looks like a piece of sheet metal while the 100 series looks more like a housing. That would definitely be the end result though.
