'04 GX 470 my rear side quarter window latch bolt assembly loosened and fell out somewhere. The latch is in great shape but I'm having a tough time finding just the bolt, washer etc to put it back together with the glass. Thanks

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone on here has attempted to cut out the lower rear quarter and welded something in place of it (i.e. flat plate)? If so what are/were some issues that you ran into? I understand there might be a drain that will need to be rerouted. Pic for reference:
