For those of you that have used @rides for leather it seems that the color is a good match but what about the texture? The factory leather is quite smooth in both the LC and LX. I recovered my 98 LC with lseat but have found that it has a rougher texture which gets shiny with wear and feels cheap/plastic like with time. I now after a 3 year search landed an 07 LX that needs front seat leather. The lseat was fine for the LC but the LX is is such superior condition that I'm hesitant to go with lseat...
I have only had mine installed for about 4 months. The texture is softer than factory, but it feels really good and I would say the quality is really high. I have never had Alcantara, so I do not know how to compare, but I am looking to purchase the middle row soon. May want to check if ridies is airbag compliant though.

Same. @MW Brothers replied to email quickly. Sent a few links to their site, for example:

For those with these already installed, could you confirm they replaced the original leather, or were slip-on seat covers? The video on the homepage shows them installed as slip-on not replacement. I hope to hear back from the seller soon and will update as well.

Generally you install covers just on the top of original upholstery. But if you want - you can remove original upholstery and install covers (like do this Katzkin for example). Removing upholstery - make install little harder and expansive i think :)

here video for installation

@MW Brothers are both rows available in the Tan and brown color (shown earlier in this thread) for the LX? Website only shows front row and black covers

Yes we can make covers in another colors.
We do not have a photos in another colors from this particular car, because none of the clients came to our installation and I did not take a photo.
But I can show examples of colors just from other cars.

For example

we can make covers in another stitching colors, another colors of alcantara and leather

for example from x5 with brown alcantara

These do look great. In all four of these links the leather is called "beige". They all look really different. Are they actually different colors, just called beige, or are they all the same color, shown in different light? Any recommendation for color if we want to somewhat match the 100 series original leather color? Thanks!

Looks great! 2 questions, what's the pricing for both rows of leather? and is there an upcharge for requesting a custom Alcantera color? Thanks!

Its little different colors. its not a problem. When you making order in web-site - order come to me and we accept all details with buyer. So we can accept covers, for example in color beige "like in kia sportage" and we will make it. Anyway we will speak about all details with buyer before production.

For a original color of LC or LX you must understand that color of seats - dosent matter, because it will cover new seats and main color of your interior will be color of covers. i recommend look to color of door panel and front panel.

I have few question about recomendation of original colors, and i see that we need resolve this question :) so please send me in direct message photos of your interior (not from internet) in DAY LIGHT. And i will try recommend color.

in web-site price for full kit (it for 2 rows seats). Price will be same for full leather kits or kits with alcantara.
custom alcantara or lather color will be same that standart colors kit.

anyway price will be 420 euros (near 500 USD) - and it dosent matter what custom you choose.

I'm in Mississippi. Come on and visit. Long drive. :)

Would you mind giving your installer in MS a shoutout? I have Ridies inbound and will be driving through MS, so I could use your installer; otherwise I've got a couple shops quoting 3-350 for front row/center console/armrests.

So sorry for the late post. Headliner's Plus in Gulfport, MS. Brian is the owner. Chad with the white land cruiser that he did front seats a few months back sent ya. Hopefully he will do it for the same.

Ridies front seat set installed this week (seats, headrests, armrests. console, rear map pocket). @Ridies set took 4 weeks from order to delivery.
Thanks to @bhamnole for recommending The Trim Shop in Birmingham, AL for the install.

Really impressed with fit and finish of the Ridies product. The photos here were right after install; the covers are smoothing out with use. **IMPORTANT NOTE** Currently Ridies seat covers are NOT SRS airbag compatible. I spoke with Ridies and sent them my old OEM covers so that they can offer an airbag compliant version in the future. I also noted that Land Cruiser Heaven covers are not offered in an air bag compliant version either. So I guess a lot of 2003+ LC/LX owners are just using non-airbag compatible covers like I am at the moment? The install shop was very reluctant to install these covers when they discovered they were not airbag compatible, so be advised.

@Ridies customer service has been very good from order through now

Thanks for the report! Definitely not information (about airbags) I had when I ordered Ridies three weeks ago. You're probably right about most folks not knowing or caring. Do you have any idea what will happen when they go off now? Are the airbags still underneath? They look great though. I'd be interested to see how much they tighten up with time. I assume you used the original foam?

The airbags are still there; just wouldn't deploy properly. The OEM seat covers have some breakaway stiching and attachment points for the mechanism that deploys the SRS airbags. The leather is already starting to conform better. The inserts were purposely orderd wrinkled/gathered to match the original Lexus style. There is just some areas of the covers that aren't completely smoothed out yet; likely from the packing/shipping process. Original foam was used, but was steamed to bring them back to life. Whatever they did it worked very well. The seats feel like they are brand new; very plush.

Has anyone personally installed these Ridies covers? The attachment seems to be completely different and no way it could connect to the bar on the driver's seat back frame(original white plastic is far bigger).
Been lurking on this thread since it started and it is the reason I bought these. Any insight would be appreciated!
