Good luck! Just sold my SBC setup as well... shipping seems to be the biggest factor. A couple guys got quotes from Idaho to the East Coast, and it was about $500 for engine, trans, and t/c loaded on a pallet

Freight Center has the best rates and I have had good luck with them in the past. I am at zip 81435 business with a forklift, this should help you with shipping quotes. I would estimate the crate about 700# to be safe. and that is just the motor and crate. I will pack and ship what ever someone thinks is the cheapest easiest.
