Getting ready to possibly purchase this 13 LC and currently have a small deposit on it. It’s in an area that gets snow a few times a year and a lot of annual rain. My plan originally was to purchase in central Texas but I have found a LC that matches what I’m looking for.
I’m sure the KDSS will be a potential issue. My concerns stem from having a Tacoma frame replaced under warranty due to rust that came from KY. I currently live in CO. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance!

Looks great to me. About as good as you are going to find.

Maybe get pics of the KDSS valve just to be sure but based on the rest of it I’d predict it being fine.

Looks awesome compared to many. Agree, check out the KDSS.

What bloc said. Doesn’t get any better than this.

The 200 doesn’t have the failure risk that the Taco did. With the 200 you’ll just curse at every fastener until you part ways.

Kentucky-That’s why it looks so good. The South rarely sees any kind of snow. I don’t recall ever seeing a snow plow or salt equipment when it has snowed. When it does snow, very few people are even on the roads if it’s actually sticking.

G2g in my eyes... The exhaust always shows a different color and different wear than the rest of the body so if that is what you are looking at it’s all good.

Looks good

The Tacoma frame issue was due to an OEM supplier deciding that taking cost out the frame without taking salt into account (thanks Dana) was the smart way to go. Hence, Tacoma frame replacements. Don't worry - they did the same thing to Ford F-Series and Econoline frames but Ford wasn't customer focused enough to recall and replace.

Oh Wow! like the others said that looks like gem! If your not driving on a lot of salty roads I wouldn't do a thing. It's the salt that really kills metal. If your driving in salted areas do some sort of undercoating like woolwax to keep it gorgeous like it already is! Great find!

Check the dust shields where the rear axle meets the wheels. I recently found out from my own experience this is $700 parts plus a lotta labor to replace and they are thin metal very rust prone. Photo wise what you showed looks great.

yeah I’d check kdss, radiator, cam tower, front LCA’s
