Couldn't find what I wanted in search. Anyone recall the vendor setting up last year's group buy on heated front seat inserts? couldn't find any in search....

Yeah I want to get in on that too. As I recall they even shipped to Canada for free.

These would be nice to keep warm on those frigid ice cold Detroit 4AM drives during 3rd year rotations.

I could probably swing the 65$ price if we could get that again.

I just contacted them to do another group buy. They transferred me over to Corp Sales. Someone over there will be calling me back. Not that I want to handle another group buy right now, just want to get the ball rolling.

Pardon my double-posting, but can any of the LX owners post a picture of the centere console where the coin holder(s) might be (and where the OEM seat heater switche(s) should go to).

Somebody is interested in getting the switch(es), but his truck is at his mechanic's and I do not have any pics of the console.

THANKS!!

Mot

MOT,

The lx does not have those coin holders, only cruisers do. The lx has a silly little woofer with screen covering it instead. The centre consoles can be exchanged though.

Thanks a bunch for chiming in!! :crybaby:

 So if one wants to install the seat heaters and the OEM switch(es) where would he/she be able to mount the rectangular switch...on the dash???

For this reason alone I swapped in a TLC centre console - I really want heated seats! I surreptitiously obtained a pair of those swithces, but procrastinated on the heaters. I am such a dumbass.

Thanks for the inputs guys.

AFAIK these switches can be had in the vertical orientation (as pictured above) or "horizontal" orientation, if that would work better for the bottom of the dash spot(s).

I'm in the process of getting a pair of the latter type for a guy, but they might not come in for a couple of weeks.

I'll post a pic or something after I confirm the orientation of them if you'd like.

Thanks again!

Mot :)

I don't want to take away from mot's sales, however there are other OEM Toyota/Lexus switches that will fit. For those of you with an LX, there is a heated seat switch just like the rear heater switch that you could use in the dash with the proper orientation. I believe it was in an older LS. There are also oak coloured switches that match nicely with the centre console for those of us without the boring gray interior :D
Mine came from a 92-96? ES.

HTH!

I called them yesterday. They still honor the price but the Carbon Fiber model that is for the group Buy is only 9" wide. This seems quite narrow. Does anyone know the actual dimensions of the seating surfaces in addition the entire width with the boldsters?

Also, does anyone have a pic of a center console with or without the Toyota factory seat heat switches installed? My truck is up in MA being readied for a substantial build and I do not have it here to look at.

Also, is there a difference in these seat heaters? I see wide price spread on these things on-line. Some of the cost sems to be driven by the size of the panels. I wanted something super reliable as I am on ly building this truck once and I want to do everything right the firt time around.

Any help with this would be appreciated.
