Locker actuator extra part?

I'm an idiot, so I thought Id take my rear actuator apart. Good news, its really clean in there. The magnets are busted off the cover, and the constant tension springs came off as I tried my ass off to remove the pieces. So yeah, I'm totally screwed. The really cool part, is that I found an extra piece, and none of my searches could tell me what or where it came from. Any Idea WTF this is? Its just a little metal rectangle. Maybe 1/2 an inch long. I read just about every thread, but none of them really have a good list of all the parts, or how to reinstall them if they become separated. Thanks, and sorry for clogging the website with a stupid question.

There is no any such a thing in the rear actuator.

Thanks guys, I figured it out. It just takes up space in the split fork. Some pictures don't have it, so I'm not sure how important it is period but I will put it back where it came from, because my mom raised me right. MUD...... best thing that ever happened to a Land Cruiser owner

Can you take a pic of it place and of itself? I reduild actuators for hundred times and NEVER seen that part.

I'll see if I have one laying around. But doubt it. I just remember seeing it one time laying on my table. Then figured out where it went.

It doesn't really fit in there very tight, but it does fit in there, and it is the appropriate size. Should I be gluing it?

I just took a look inside the actuator I replaced a few months ago. Didn't see that part anywhere, although my center shaft section is still assembled.

I put it in there, It looks like it will stay though I cant really see that it does much. Ill toss it in tis weekend and see how it goes
