Here in Guatemala it seems to have stablized at Q30.99/US gallon which is $4.10 US/gallon.

St.-Jérôme area wednesday afternoon:
gas 1.149
diesel 1.299

Diesel still going down in price here in Guatemala. It's now Q28.18/US gal which works out to $3.75/gal It's also still cheaper than regular gasoline :)

Diesel on Sunday was 119.9 at Husky in Abby. It is still 11 cents/liter more expensive than gas. The latest I heard was this is because of shutting down a Shell and PetroCanada refineries for fall maintainence. Shouldn't that also affect gas prices? They always seem to have a reason - albiet a lame one - for higher diesel prices. Let's see if Prime Minister Harper is true to his word and removing taxes on diesel. Ya I know it is only 2 cents/liter. :meh:

LOL!!
what, you think he is old Ralphy Klien? he is the only politician that ever kept his word.

if Harper keeps his word i will gain new respect for our government...

gas is 0.96L diesel is $1.12L in Owen Sound

Petro-Canada’s 135,000 barrels-a-day Edmonton refinery is in the tail end a scheduled turnaround that has been planned for more than a year, Suncor and Esso both had "unplanned" outages which affected production. Depending on what parts of the plants went down it can drastically reduce diesel output with not as much of a impact on gas etc. and in Suncors case they only produce SCO and diesel.
