If you think there is something we should make post it up. We can hash out the order of prodution in another thread.

Make sure you.

State the part
Original Toyota part # (if you don't know go here-----> http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/ )
Years this particular part was produced for

If folks know of a person or company producing a part in this list (or working on producing a part) PLEASE post up the information so we do not "step on the toes" of folks who are already making piggy parts. We do not want to become the sole supplier for piggy parts as that will reduce the potential parts available.

I believe we all need "the boot". Wouldn't it be nice to pay the price listed... We could make it much more heavy duty than the original.

just out of curiosity, does anyone know why the pig moves the park brake cable to the other side, unlike the 40 series that just runs it from the left firewall down to the tcase?:confused:

Also partial patch panels for the front fender would be nice. I'm thinking of like that back half of the lower fender with the bubbled lip. I'd be using it to expand the stock opening ;)

Also nice would be replacement formed filler hose and grommet. 2 1/8" "gates" hose is a pain to deal with:mad:

non us vendors make patch pieces...place in australia and eshan. also, wasn't there a place in canada?

x2 on the filler hose and grommet...mine are ok for now, but what happens when they're not.:eek:

patch pieces for the rear fender "lip" would be nice. and to get real complicated the inside passenger rocker area where the rear seat latch handle bolts in.

btw, if all goes well, i'll have my first "bolt in" headlamp harness for running the headlights through relays soon...i'll let y'all know how it goes.

Thus making it impossible to utilize a disc parking brake, without a custom made cable & major $$$$ :mad:

yeah, I've wondered that

yeah, I've wondered that

my issue is with the bracket on the firewall....it was in the way of my v8 conversion, so i have to extend the rod and move everything over about an inch and a half. may have to see if i can retrofit a normal 40 series setup.

Most of what I'm interested in are misc gasket type things. Most important ones to me are ones that seal the cab up(numbered in order of importance to me).

  1. tail light gasket for 68-77 - this is the gasket between the housing and body.
  2. side mirror gaskets for - this is available with new mirrors but not separate:frown:
  3. front turn signal gaskets for 68-69 - this is for the grill mounted turn signals. There are two gaskets here: lens to base and base to grill. Would like both.
  4. front turn signal lens for 68-69 - this is for the grill mounted turn signals.

side apron turn signal lens oem number is 81511-60090
gasket for front apron mount turn signal is 81518-60090
gasket for taillamp assy to body is 81554-60090 rh and 81564-60040 lh
no part number for mirror base gasket since it is part of the mirror assy.

these were good part number when my parts book was printed in november of 1967 (yep...a pig parts book published in 1967!). they may have been superceded since then.

I wonder if we could make one part that consisted of both of those boots (cable and linkage)? Then all we would have to do is cut the two apart. Probably be just as expensive and might reduce cost.

Rear corners and front floor board patches.

What I would like to see is the rear corners panels made. Just below the reflector. If we found people need more than that then have them do from the turn signal down. If they did that I'd like to also see just the lower section made.

Front floor boards. This could also be made in two fold. Just the area where the body mount rusts in the very front. That's all most of us need. Then maybe a full section all the way across. Second would be the back seat floorboard. Though by far the hardest to make due to the crazy curve in the floor.

Also the front floorboard body mounts. Lance at IPOR did one for Eventhough. While it served it's purpose you could tell it was not like the others.

Extrusions:

I'd like to see the hood to firewall weatherstripping done. Though I may be able to source something that looks really close that is right off the shelf. This piece along with the firewall grommet is the lead cause of why the floorboars rust out.

If that weatherstripping is not there water channels right over the main harness firewall grommet and leaks to the inside.

If I found a grommet that fit the hole and fixed the issue would this be good enough or do we want to make the exact grommets that were on the firewall?

Side apron?:confused: That sounds like side of fender and not the ones on the grill. The turn signals on the grill are different between sides as you can see in this picture:

I'll take a look at the taillamp numbers. The fact that SOR doesn't carry them doesn't bod well though:frown:

I'd be willing to try to reproduce the lenses. I have all the stuff. Might make it real cheap. But I need a sample.

What about late model rear tail light lenses and frames?

I know somebody was making early model stuff, but how 'bout us?

I'd like a set of the rear corners made up. Higher is better, that way it's there if you need it and if not just cut it off!

I do not have that on my truck but I remember the dried bits when we got the truck.

I think these are available from SOR. I used SOR #184-90B and they worked for me.

here are my grill lights. good condition except for filthy and some kind of goo stuck to em...they'll clean up though no cracks, no chips. oem number for the lens is 81611-60020 (rh) and 81621-60020 (lh)
complete assy is 81610-60020 or 81610-60021 (iso) =rh and 81620-60020 and 81620-60021 (iso) =lh
i could use the lens gaskets = 81612-60010 as mine are close to toast

as for weatherstrip between hood and cowl area, the two pigs i have here (third one is still in new mexico) only have these pieces...they're also all i see in the book

lh = 55792-90351
rh = 55791-90351

my rh side has some cracking at the bend. the left looks good, and if i'm careful, i should be able to get it off.

heater defrost hoses are usually trashed, as is the boot between the blower and the body.

lh hoses (from my parts book) are 87232-60091 and 87231-60090, rh is 87233-60090 and the boot is 87212-60090
