Wow this looks great!!! It really ties in nice with the black bumpers/sliders and wheels. I know you mentioned that you were all about the DIY but did you happen to price this out through a line-x dealer or body shop prior to getting started? If so, how did their price stack up against your actual cost?
Scott
I never priced out anyone else spraying - that would take the fun and self-torment out of it and we can't have that!
Nice work, I'm digging the RAF Blue especially with the black wheels. What does the texture look like and how does rolling vs. spraying effect your control over texture?
It wold be nice to see a couple of closer shots if you get a chance.
Also are you putting the flares back on? Noticed the holes were still there.

I'll put up some CU's. I still a need a day of tweaking, touching up, etc. I have not decided on the flares yet - my original intent was to put them back on, but now that they are off, and I've driven it lightly, my knee jerk rx is to keep them off.
Good job! It looks very cool. Are you puttinng the flares back on?

I think the flares are staying off. I think I'll mount one side and just have a look, but I've already had the displeasure of ripping off the right rear thanks to a rock, so karma is kind of dictating they stay off...

The texture is pretty light compared to what the gun gives you. In certain lighting angles you see a bit of an orange peel, in other angles it looks like 400 grit sand paper. From 20 feet away it looks like a matte paint. The vinyl flattener additive leaves a bit of a "sugar coating", and if the rest of the body cures like the roof did, the "crystals" will diminish a bit leaving more of a matte finish than a sparkly one. Still approaching full cure.
