Hey guys :).
In my search for the perfect LC, I came across a few that had the cool, retro and pointless Lexus Integrated carphone. I know some love it, and some rip them out and hate them. I was hoping to pop one back into my car.

Does anyone out there have one that they wish to sell? I found that CruiserParts had (1), but the last updated to inventory per that webpage was Jan 2009 :).

Just curious. Thanks for your time !

@slow95z
@arcteryx

They have salvage stuff.

Don't buy from Cruiserparts unless you really hate yourself.

I don't have one currently

Who wants a bag-phone?

I used to sell those bag phones when I was.......20

Of all the modifications to my car, the one question that is guaranteed asked is "does that thing still work?"

I'd like to retrofit mine to still have the BEEE BOOOOOP and Bluetooth it to my cell phone for calls.

Best of luck on your search. If you do find one, I'm curious what they go for.

There was some kind of mandate, e911 iirc, passed to eliminate these analog devices. I don’t think any carrier can activate a new account for an analog device.

Those phones are I think 3 watt all other phones now are now much much less. I know Verizon won't activate it.

With a pair of Dixie cups and a waxed string you could have a retro ICS (inter-vehicle communication system).

I found the hidden head unit (power supply) for one of those phones under my console in my 94 LC. I don't have the handset, but youre welcome to it for free, if you'll pay the shipping.

bingo, cannot do it because of analog. Just like analog>digital TV signals in 2009

I have a complete unit for sale. ;)

It would be a cool retrofit - maybe make a 3D printed mock phone that connects via BT to your current smartphone.....

The only thing you need do here is make or acquire the handset, which resided in the upper part of the LX console. That's only about 20% of the phone. The rest is a big black box made by Fujitsu plus a power supply that resides in the left rear fender. The bracket that holds all that could be usefully applied to hold some other pro-project there. The rest is pretty worthless except for the bracket, and perhaps the power supply.
