Leveler block?

It was an OEM Toyota item and works. Tips? See above, and don't try to lick a frozen aluminum flag pole in winter.

I need to do this too as my passenger side sits an inch or so higher than the drivers side. How thick of a shim is needed?

Not even in the rare "I triple dog dare you" situation.

Looking at my '86 FJ60 project vehicle sitting in the garage, there's a definite lean. But until I start driving it and the see what it's like after the new OME suspension settles in, I don't plan on doing anything about it.

The shims are only effective in a stock sprung under situation.

Don't swat a hornet's nest.

I bought one from Cool Cruisers of Texas and it gave me a 1/4" correction in the front. What a rip off of $32.59.

The sales pitch was that it has worked on every 40 they've installed it on. A 3/8" block will magically correct a 1" difference in elevation from Left to Right
I don't know what felt worse:
1) Finding out that it didn't work
2) Finding out how stupid I was to believe the hype about 3/8" being able to make a 1" correction

I have had my Cruiser for many years and the lean has bothered me off and on.
My suspension is fairly stock and the lean has not effected the drive ability that I have noticed.
I can't say that it doesn't bother me but I have pretty much learned to live with it.
It you are concerned with what others will think then always park on a slope or one wheel on the curb and when on the road drive erratically and no one will notice.

It’s not so much what others think, it’s the engineer in me that doesn’t like it.
I just replaced all 4 springs with Pro-Comp 2-1/2” lift thinking that was the problem. The ride is much better, but the the lean worsened.
I think I will take the old springs apart and start using the short leaves as shims until I can get the body to within 1/2” L to R and see how it looks.
In retrospect, I could have done that instead of the “Miracle in a Bottle” Leveler Block.
