FWIW, I still love my superbrightleds I have in both trucks. LEDs are awesome, and give so much more light then the crap 194 and festoon incan. bulbs.

festoon..... such an attractive word.

Nice work! Count me in for a set when you order the lot!

Oh...I think the right side/passenger side would be best for the red map light personally.

Can't wait for you guys to put together a package for this.

Going to be watching this closely. Will probably swap everything overhead at a minimum and add the LED strip to the cargo area as well.

This looks very nice and bright. I would be interested in a set if you do put them together. Thanks.

Good feedback! I am going to add the following to my kit:

1X Red LED (for driver or passenger side personal map light)
1X 10 LED bulb for the glovebox
4X 25 LED bulbs for the doors

I was considering adding LEDs for the vanity mirrors but I think it would be overboard (and encroaching on cost prohibitive) for this initial run.

I have everything queued up and ready to go. I just need to figure out a fair price (way cheaper than the average person would pick these up for) and line up 20 locked-in buyers.

Here is what will be included (I will start a separate thread when I get closer to shipping):

2X 10 LED Front Personal
1X 1 LED Red Front Personal (Map Light)
1X 10 LED Glovebox
2X 16 LED Center Personal
1X 48 LED Center Interior
1X 48 LED Rear Interior
4X 25 LED Door

12 LED lights in all

I'd like to get a feel of what the avg Mudder would pay for this package. That way I can gauge whether I should add or remove components so that everyone is happy. I don't want to get into a situation where I am dealing with custom orders. Whatever I determine to be the final kit will be the final kit. Keep in mind that there is value added to this due to the fact that I am doing the spec'ing, ordering, tracking, sorting, re-packaging and mailing of the components. You don't have to do hours or research to get this and that. You order...You get the complete package in a few days. This is the biggest no-brainer in the history of Earth.

So... what would you cough up for this?

Its hard to come up with a price for this on our own - you're sort of dealing in an unknown so we have no easy way of accurately estimating cost. Its a great looking kit and we appreciate your time and effort, but I think that you should be setting the cost since you know what you have in it. Add a little mark up for yourself so you walk away with some cash in hand.

We like cheap, but we understand fair too. :)

Do these use regulated power supplies? I have not had good luck with lower line LED's that do not have regulated supplies. I'm pretty much only willing to by regulated at this stage.

So which is it?

Thanks,

These do not include a regulated power supply. You can purchase one here: 12 Volt LED Power Supply Specifications

To be honest, I consider these to be disposable items. If they fail after a couple of years, I will wipe my tears and go buy another one.

That being said, I have never had one fail on me (store bought). Nick and I tore the back off a high-end Putco and there is nothing special to be seen. I'm sure he'll post pics from our lunchtime pow wow.

Before I place my final batch order I have to nail down pricing. Would everyone be OK with $40-45 for the 12 piece kit shipped to your door? That works out to about $3.75 per bulb (delivered). I have no idea what these will cost to ship so I am just providing a broad estimate. Let me know...

EDIT: Got confused on pricing. It is corrected now.

That's a great deal!

I've had LEDs in the interior center that started to flicker over time, but then went away, maybe in it's second year? Courtesy lights in the doors too, which never went away. Can't remember where from either, superbright or autolumination.

Where are these shipping from?

Where all products ship from..CHINA! At this (or close to this) price, I am not going to freak out if one of my bulbs flickers. I will just replace it. If you guys want, I will sit on what I installed and report back every so often until adequate QA time is amassed. I really have no need to do any of this in the first place.

Great price Paul... $50 range is a killer deal...

Thanks! I think so too. I just hope everyone doesn't try to get uber rocket scientist about this. If you want to pay 15-35 bucks a bulb to ensure you have the latest inductive micro-ohm resistance fluctuation parameters within .00000127v of their rated loads, then go right ahead. You'll pay way over $200. I put these in my truck and they radically improved cabin lighting. Plus they look dope, Yo!

I will be installing my "kit"tonight. Includes all overhead lights. I will be posting comparison shots of each LED so everyone knows what to expect and to get you all excited and warm inside.

The $20 Putco LED was the exact same as our LED's. I will upload the pictures later. I am going to dissect my large putco LED board. I am confident our kit will be as good, or better than a $220+ Putco setup.
