Jeremy, what time are you driving up friday evening? I figured you were going to go straight to URE from Greenville, not drying all the way back first. I was planning on leaving right after work, so ~2pm

Oh, LAWD..... We're gonna have to start a private thread before @Beau Diddly starts to give us a load full of bovine agricultural growth encouragement.....

The fastest route is I85. It is 167 miles. If you did it in 1.5 hrs, you averaged over 111 mph! Who says the CJ-5 doesn't have serious power?!?!?!

I guess it was a little longer...it was a long time ago, but it didn't seem very long.
And it's a CJ7

Time flies when you're having fun! :-). I'm sorry we won't get to wheel with you this weekend, David... You're one of my favorite drivers to ride with. Will see you next Saturday at the Boil!

The brake booster died on the 80 yesterday and left me with a surprisingly rock hard brake pedal as I exited I-26 (nearly rear-ended a cadillac). I have no time to work on it, so Glenn will be coming to the rescue once again. Labor cost isn't bad, but my goodness a new brake booster is pricey! Fortunately, I've been working quite a bit of OT lately - so net zero.

The check engine light on the 100 is intermittent and my OBDII won't seem to connect to the computer. Fluids are all good, so I'm guessing the O2 sensor.

I wouldn't mind driving the 40, but it is in about 1,000 pieces at the paint shop with no estimated completion date. No complaints here, John does good work. But it won't be done in time for GSMTR.

Then there's the HJ45... Well, that's going to be a while... Again, no complaints, I knew Marshall would have it for quite a while.

I guess what I'm saying is... HAMOM's more often?

Agree, let us know. I think David is dealing with his own issues courtesy of Murphy's law.
Yeah, David has done more than his fair share of work on my truck - plus I think my Mt Pleasant Visa expired... I got a ticket last time I was there for not wearing the right shade of pink on my seersucker shirt. I should have known better.

Anyhow, thanks Tim. You'll be pleased to know that my power steering is making goofy noises and my 80 still has the original PS pump. I hear you're good at swapping these things? :wrench::wrench::beer::wrench::wrench:

Jeremy, @yota dawg is selling a nice 80 here in CLT. Sure you don't need another one?

I'm running out of space... But I did make an offer to buy some land from both of my next door neighbors... :hmm:

So it won't surprise you to know I now have a leak on my PS pump return line, next on the growing agenda. We can knock it out with an impromptu HAMOM if you want. You remember, find someone with little hands to get that banjo bolt back on.

Isn't Johnny going to GSMTR?

You don't need small hands to get to that banjo bolt, just about 3 feet of extensions:hillbilly:

And I just got a new clutch assy to have on standby when I install a new Rear Main Seal Sunday / next week.

I might need a bigger trailer to haul back more trucks...

Fixed it for you.

Unfortunately, with my -40 measuring 14'7" long, and doubling that to put 2 on a trailer would require a 30' + long trailer, it's not likely. I needs 20'trailer to haul the new backhoe, and just wouldn't have room for a 30'long trailer.

So, I guess we'll have drive them once they are both road worthy.. * And eventually @dbenke will be driving the heffer / chicken / Bovine -40 as well.

I hope to have it ready for the parade
