Spending tonight in the parking lot of Kinkaider Brewing in Broken Bow, NE, reserved through Harvesthosts.com. Julie and I just finished some great brews and a meal. Last light we camped on a farm in SW Minnesota. While giving the rig a once over before the sun went down, I found the start to the dreaded radiator crack. A week ago there was nothing. Bought a plastic tank repair kit in the autos section of an ACE hardware store this morning. Drove all day while towing a camper in the heat without an issue. Will attempt to patch it in the morning when everything has cooled down. Heading towards Denver tomorrow after the epoxy sets.

Find a radiator and we can replace it in the parking lot in Breckenridge. Just did mine so I’m a pro.

Saw about a dozen CJ-8 Scramblers carravanning north through Buenna Vista on my way to Breck this afternoon. Was cool to see them all together.

We clocked an even 1000 miles pulling into Breck today. Pushed through to Sugarite Canyon on day 1 (14 hours), and an easy 5 today.

Spotted a heavily built maroon in Fort Worth, assumed they were going to caravan up this way, but unfortunately they turned off.

Anyone know good spot(s) to camp around Medicine Bow National Forest? We have a tent and the rooftop tent, and don't need water/power/etc. We're up in the Tetons now and looking for a spot to stay tomorrow night before making our way to Breckenridge on Monday.

Hit the cosmosphere this morning, then made it to Denver. Breckenridge tomorrow afternoon.

Left Savoy, IL this morning. I am spending the night in Salina, KS and will then head to Breckinridge in the morning. I think I saw a 200 stalking me on I-70 today around Junction City, KS.

I believe that was us. We got within a couple hundred feet of another 200, then decided to stop to eat. Made it about 950 miles total on Saturday, from Lafayette, IN to just inside the colorado boarder, where we decided to hang it up for the day. Made good time, but pretty tired. Saw 106 degrees in western Kansas before we hit some rain showers. Can't wait to get into that cool mountain air!

Looking forward to the cool air in Breck. The most I like to drive in a day anymore is 600 to 700 miles. I use to be able to do those 900+ mile days when I was younger.
