Tree ran out in front of me. The XPEL prevented the paint from cracking, if it doesn’t pop out I already have my Fabulous Fabrication’s snorkel on stand-by.
Eric, how’d you incur this damage? Also, pop it out and drill a hole for a snorkel.

Sage advice and I think we all appreciated his spotting coming down the large rocks after after the climb up Heart-attach hill. He also brought his 80 and showed us all some cool things at the Chutes. Can't wait for next year. I'm hooked!
Note for next year - thumbs in front of you on the wheel, not death gripping it. If the steering wheel kicks on a rock the death grip can break you thumbs if the steering wheel snapsFirst time at LCDC and it was fantastic! Cool trucks and even cooler people. @linuxgod and @Oakleyguy were awesome as trail leaders. This was really my first time doing any serious off roading and appreciate all the help and guidance from not onlythe leaders but also all of the other experienced folks in my groups. Heart-attach hill and the T13 crash site were amazing and I can't believe I got up and over with only a few scratches (stock rear bumper and wheel rims, I'll post photos later). A special shout out to @Hants who helped me get by the first rock I got my lower shock mount hung up on at the top of Heart-attach Hill . Afterward, when I said it looks like I need to invest in shock mount armor, he said "or you could just put the tires on top of the rocks".
As proof I really had fun, I developed a small blister on the palm of my right hand apparently from the death grip I was using on the steering wheel.
Thank you for a wicked fun time, it was spectacular! It could be quiet some time before that day can be topped! You guys deserve a big round of applause for setting up the private bar after a long day and enabling the fun to continue! Thanks again!Mystery overnighter groups
Just got out of the shower and was thinking back on the last 3 kick @ss days.
First, the folks that came on the mystery trail were fantastic. I’ve lead/guided a lot of trails. I don’t think that I’ve ever had folks with such enthusiasm.
We ran one of the most difficult and arduous trails in the area (I knew y’all could do it) and to add insult to injury, a storm ripped through and turned the rock gardens into skating rinks and filled the mud holes to the brim with slop.
The group kept their focus and enthusiasm until the end where we forced them to drink margaritas at 10pm when we finally made it to camp.
We winched, we strapped, we maxtrax’d, we spotted. The teamwork was great, from slinging muddy maxtrax to holding flashlights and to making each other drinks at camp. Big shout out to mix master Amory for killing the bar setup.
It’s was soo great to see the permagrin on everyone’s face while ripping the sand dunes and doing back to back bumper deep water crossings for miles lol. We rolled into camp 3.5hrs late and I didn’t count a single frown.
Y’all are truely what makes this really really enjoyable. Thanks for the great adventure, and give yourself (and your wife and daughter) a pat on the back. I can’t wait to see your lovely faces next year.
