Alright guys a few minor snags with the switch. It's now totally NLA in the US or Japan. Coming up as an F class discontinued. BUT, I found a solution using a switch and a seperate bezel that I think is the exact same thing. I'll have a sample here via air on Tuesday/Wednesday. It is going to bump the price a tad (maybe $10-15 but nothing insane). Once I verify we'll take orders!

Also on colors, I will have LT.GRAY, SAND BEIGE, FLAXE, & BLACK here today/tomorrow for pics.

Grey please. Happy to add extra for shipping down to NZ of course Kurt.

Hey guys, parts are in for a dozen or so kits and more are en route. I've sent a couple out to a few full build customers of ours and they confirmed fitment went smooth on their end. I need a few hours to get them assembled as kits, added to the computer with part numbers and pricing and at that point I'll post here and start a fresh thread. In the meantime I really appreciate your patience, I know folks are anxious to get these based on the calls we've received :D

2011, sand beige. Thanks! This should be fun install with one arm in a cast.

Right there with ya re: installing with one arm! ;)

Since my accident in August, I've been operating with one arm and one leg too...
-Been doing what I call "wheelchair mods" and have ben surprised how many little tweaks I've managed to pull off.

Good for you for going for it while hobbled.

I'm really looking forward to this mod that corrects such a ridiculous oversight of no way out of the back of the US 200.

Kit assembly is underway, pricing ended up a few bucks higher than I had previously hoped but it's got a few more parts than I had originally planned to include. :D

Toyota really needs to read this thread. Or...you need to sell these to every Toyota dealer in the US.
On the other hand... hmmm...never mind! If Toyota sold it as an option, it would be $400. :bang::hillbilly:

Better stock up Kurt. I have a feeling these are going to sell like hot cakes

Is there a dark grey handle available?

Is there a dark grey handle available?

Not that I've seen. We have in stock Light Grey, Sand Beige, Flaxen and soon Black. Perhaps I need to crawl through the EPC a bit more. Is yours a darker color handle?

**EDIT: This post was a brain cramp!
-Even dark interiors have a much lighter grey panel on the rear hatch, so light grey was right for me. Before you order one from Kurt though, check your rear panel, because some newer Cruisers do have dark rear hatch panels.**

Looks like I should have ordered black then?

Here is the color of my interior walls. I call this grey...but maybe you'd call it black?

I have the same black/dark gray plastic on the "lower" interior panels - but the plastic on the interior of the rear hatch (where I assume this handle would go) is light gray. Crappy google image search pic, since my truck is in the garage:

Is your '08 black/dark gray all the way up?

Oh geez! You are right! Brain cramp! :bang:

Funny how the mind works great.......and then it doesn't.......

Now that I think about it, it does sorta make sense that it's lighter...because when you open the hatch, its paneling becomes a continuation of the interior ceiling...which is light.
