LC200 & LX570 Rear Tailgate Light Dual Colour LED **Updated**

Ordered one of these beauties for my 200 2018 a month ago. Fantastic product, well built and does a fantastic job of lighting up a very large area. Great dealing with Brendan, the light arrived fairly swiftly to Dubai in the UAE.

The plug and play connection was very straight forward but I have large hands and couldn't reach inside the panel through the existing hole to pop out the boot close button.

I highly recommend my install hack. Find a small child (luckily I have two to choose from!) and get them to reach inside and do the install in return for an ice cream!
It really is that easy to install and the plate fitted in to place perfectly.

The switch is interchangeable for the dual colour as its the same size.. the wiring is different.

Just received and installed my rear hatch light. Turns on automatically when the hatch opens and automatically turns off when it's closed. With the 3-way switch, can also have it off when the hatch opens.

Full functionality of the power rear hatch is retained.

Took me about 5 mins to install. I was able to squeeze my hand in there, though it was tight. (I wear a size L golf glove for reference)

@Brendan was a pleasure to deal with and kept me updated through the whole ordering process. Took about a week for the package to arrive in California.

For anyone considering this light, I bought one a year ago, and it might be the best modification I ever did to my 200. Every time I open the rear to access the trunk, I smile when the light comes on.

Now have single LED with dual colours White and Amber selectable via 3 position switch (White/off/Amber).

Kits available for all models LC200 and LX570.

The electric rear back door (tailgate) models being plug n plug, less than 2mins to install.

Amber great for camping and insects.
