Those are regular VINs. Not prototype/pilot— Those would have a differing system of tracking and would not be actual VINs.

Pilot production vehicles are always destroyed. That’s how I understand the way Toyota begins manufacture of new models. They are scrapped.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
It makes sense why that was registered since its regular production just at an earlier date.

I was leaning luxury plus but these overtrails are looking sooo good
My main concern I have about LC250 is I'm worrying it'll give off that non serious clown car vibe which the fj cruiser gave off.
The GX seems abit more serious design wise.

For certain occasions for example
I can pull up in a base 300 no one is gonna bat an eye, it is a serious respectable looking car ...

An fj cruiser looking car but with an extra door...maybe best for the weekend outings.

I think the white roof on the FJ is what made it look a bit goofy. Not a fan of the white roof on some of the color combos of the 250, tbh
It is actually one of the reasons
Toyota is always super careful with the design of the
100-200-300 lineage and so on.
They can never make a design too radical just because of this reason.

The 250 I guess is for a more younger and millennial crowd so I guess it'll be okay.

Many of the colors looks better than I expected. I think Nebula Gray, White, and Incognito all look better than on other Lexus vehicles. It must be due to the proportions and trim.

If only I could talk my better half into Nori.

Concur. I have never been an atomic or nebula fan but they both look great on the gx550

Love the nori. I think with an XPEL stealth wrap it would look amazing.

I don’t know if these were posted somewhere in the preceding 19 pages, but I don’t think I saw them. This is showing GX with the 2.4T-H.

What’s belt driven on the engine? Serpentine longs like it’s only got one accessory plus receiver. Water pump?

Maybe worth noting - the GX with the hybrid has a 3rd row.

And it share front suspension with the LC250 (front sway bar behind the front axle vs in front like eKDSS).

This doesn't support the assumption that the battery precluded LC 250's third row.

They sure keep that battery and its harness high and dry.

The patents showed it with a seat on top about 6-7 years ago.

The high battery is probably a good idea if it's not very well sealed. If you haven't seen the news stories out of florida. A number of electric vehicles that were in salt water and ended up with salt being deposited inside the batteries. When the water dries up the salt concentrates and creates a short in the battery. And they are catching on fire. At least a couple of Tesla's and a few others have done that. And it doesn't happen until multiple weeks after the flooding event.

I think this trends to point to the 4Runner having the 3rd row for the USA market.
