Media LC 250 & GX550 Picture Thread (19 Viewers)

Stock suspension, just 275/70/18 BFG KO3s. I also removed the front air dams that hang down below the bumper.

This may have been mentioned elsewhere…but any rubbing issues with 275/70r18 tires?

How are you liking the KO3s? They look much more highway oriented than the KO2s. I’m pretty sure BFG knows a fair bit more than me about tire design though, so figuring they must be as good as the 2s in the dirt?

They’ve been good. 7k miles on them, including off road in AZ and MI. Nothing super challenging yet. I have been impressed with the beating my KO2s have taken on my work 4x4 so I’m hoping the KO3s hold up.

That’s great to hear, as I have 275/70-18 Toyo RT Trails on Methods on my Sequoia, and they would look dead sexy on a 250. And for those that want to know, the RT Trails are phenomenal! Quiet, smooth and great traction everywhere, including snow.

Unless you go to 25 or less offset wheels (and probably even then) there don't seem to be any issues with 275/70r18 tires.

Man, I had mine looking like that then immediately went fly fishing in the mountains (it was a balmy 19 degrees or so). Got home, hit it with the pressure washer and moved on. Being that clean was definitely a one and done.

I did yoink the iforcemax badge, though.

I took a family picture with my GX and it’s great-great uncle who lives at my neighbor’s house. You can see the family resemblance in the photos, especially in hood/cowl/windshield.

These were probably not the right tires for this road. They were great through the mountains in Colorado the day before though. It still did just fine, there's one sandy hill on this road that some people were having trouble with but that's about it.

I went to Tokyo Auto Salon and there were a decent amount of nice LC250’s, but this one was insanity.
