Has anyone checked their MPG gains recently with the new MAF housing and sensor? Also was wondering if there are any newer sensors that might be used, maybe even the sensor used on the non-USA redesigned VVTi 1FZFE?

What is the current price shipped to montana?

Cheers Peter

Peter,

Thank you for your interest in the Landtank MAF. Currently, shipping is included in the web store price. Contact me if you should have any further questions.

Are there any sleeves left? I didn't see them on the AJIK site.

PM sent. Thanks...

I just installed the housing and am curious about the LTFTs I am seeing now. (LTMAF purchased from AJIK + New MAF from dealer)
With the stock MAF, I was getting no more than 2% correction. Currently I am seeing upwards of 14%.
That's a bit too close for me at the CEL threshold. At idle, I do notice the STFT is in the -7% range.

Am I missing something? Did I get a gen1 that needs the FPR line pulled to compensate?

Mino-

Thank you for your question. To clarify, you have received a new GEN II Landtank MAF that does NOT require the additional sleeve similar to the GEN I LT MAF for performance gains.

To better assist you please provide a couple more details:

Did you allow the truck to warm up to operating temps prior to installing the new LT MAF? If not, this method will allow the ECM to more quickly adjust to the newly installed LT MAF.

After installing the new LT MAF did you drive the truck for a 20-30mins and allow it to idle on return? If not, this method will allow the ECM to further update and balance the fuel trim values that you have noted to have a discrepancy.

I think you need to run the truck for a while longer before looking at the FT%s. That -7% in the ST will eventually migrate over to the LT% which will then be 7% (14% plus -7% equals 7%)

And can you post a picture of the tip of the sensor. There are a few sensors from Toyota that look very similar but don't work the same. I need to see both sides as looking through the round hole.

Which are the posting costs to Madrid (Spain)??

JChico- message me your shipping information and which Landtank product that you are interested in and I'll reply with a quote.

Thank you!

From what should I buy the sensor to install the new maf housing. Please let me know. Thanks

Customers now have the convenience of ordering the Gen ll housing with suggested sensor (sold separately) from the AJIK web store.

Do to the need to find a new shop to manufacture these the remaining stock might be the last of them.

The guy I was using ended his business all together and qoutes so far would mean an increase of about 100.00 at a quantity of parts that I can't justify having made.

I'm still looking for another shop in hopes of finding one that can be more inline with what I was paying but wanted people to know who might want one of these and would be upset if they missed out because they hadn't known of the pending end.

If things change on my end I'll update it here.
