Its always had the clunk, looseness and pull ever since I SOA'd. It got better once I put the shocks on. Its nothing that I changed today, I've been chasing it around for a year. The TRE's are 80's and less than a year old. I'll borrow a digital angle finder from work tomorrow and get some caster numbers

It would appear my castor angle is effed. I really should pull the knucks off again and measure from the ball. But from my current half ass measuring I get 4.5 degrees positive on the pass side and 9.5 positive on the drivers. When we did the C&T we measured many times and had it dialed in at 5 degrees positive for both...or so I thought. I also have .5 degree negative camber on both sides also. I'm getting close to the point where I call up Proffitts and have them send me a SOA front housing. I dont have tons of time to mess around with this and I just want to drive my cruiser and wheel before winter!

Ouch. 5 degrees off. Does it drive that bad? I wouldn't mind buying a housing from Proffit's but that's expensive.

It drives straight as an arrow going forward, maybe a slight pull to the left with the MTRs but with the A/Ts it was dead straight. It really squeals the tires going around turns though, worse when turning right. Backing up it pulls pretty hard to the left. It also gets some shimmy/slight wobble over bumps at speed.

I adjusted my toe and it drives much much better. No more shimmy in the wheel over most bumps. Still has some if I go over a bump on a corner. It also doesnt squeal the tires around corners.

Sounds good enough to me. It is what it is, an offroad truck. It'll never drive as well as a WRX so as long as it tracks straight and doesn't squeal around corners, I'd call that a win.

yeah. it just needs to do 0 to 60 in <20 sec. i think lucky number 7 is about right.

Well I was supposed to go wheeling today with my friend, but he ended up having prior engagements. So I drove around aimlessly looking for something to do. I didnt really find anything. Here are pics to prove it.

Maybe this week or next weekend I'll get it on some trails.

Installed the AALs in the front packs this weekend. So far so good.

Locked my keys in my cruiser this evening, got a ride home to find my spare key. Couldnt find it. Got a 10mm wrench and a coat hanger, went back to my cruiser and broke in.

Not sure that's a great idea to post, never sure who is trolling these forums.

Last summer I locked my keys in the truck 3 times in one day. Man that was a bad day.

Yeah not going to tell you how to break into a 60. You can go lock your keys in your truck and figure it out :D

I've had a recent issue when pumping gas. I think my vent line is plugged or something because the pump always shuts off after a few gallons, after that I can pump in short bursts of maybe a pint and let it gurgle in and another pint and let it gurgle. My gas gauge hasnt worked in a while, maybe my tank is actually magically full.

Finally went wheeling today. Of course we didnt get pictures of the technical stuff, by the time we were out it was dark. I went with my friend who has a mini truck with 35in km2s, locked rear and a winch. Its going to be SAS's soon.

My friend took some video...if it looks decent I'll post it.

Dude, sick license plate,

Thanks

So a newish problem has surfaced. I cant fill my gas tank. I can put in a couple gallons then the pump shuts off and the tank starts gurgling. So I'm guessing a vent is clogged or blocked somehow. I searched but cant seem to come up with anything helpful.

The vent tube that is on the filler neck that goes down to the gas tank. Is that still connected and functional?

I believe its still connected, not sure if its functional. I'll investigate it this weekend. I just had that panel off this weekend when I was running the coax for my Firestik. All the hoses and fittings look brand new.

Picked up some Fluid Film today. I couldnt buy the spray gun locally so I'm either going to order it or try to find something that will work locally.

I havent opened up the can yet but I'm guessing its pretty thick stuff. I figured I'd have to find a gun design for thicker materials vs normal paint.
