Are you guys of the 'you can't exceed 2500 rpm on a 1FZ-FE lest you overheat, blow the head gasket, and possibly kill a busload of nuns' persuasion?
After reading the '80s board for three months now, I better get busy changing all the fluids, and doing a front end rebuild before Saturday... do I really need to do the gear oil in the axles? We're not doing any low range stuff, right?
I mean, I don't want to come across as irresponsible, just because I drive a K5 Blazer in my 'wheeling life...
What do you mean by can't exceed 2500 rpm? Are you asking if we drive fast? I don't usually drive faster than 68mph, my tires are out of balance at 70, and i get better mileage
If you just pump some more grease into the hub through the little viewing window it should be able to get you by a little longer.
There won't be any wheeling at the meet as far as i know.

hummmm?
