Look forward to full report!

If they perform even close to KO2+mud voids?

Might try them next...

My 2 cents with a 18 months on a set of KM3 on my BJ74. Equal dirt/mud, better in snow, quieter on Hwy, wearing better than the brand new KM2's that came off.

What’s your opinion on general use (by General I mean AT roles) vs. KO2?

Is it handling anywhere near KO2 in wet?

I've not spent much time driving the General ATX but my XO team mates had them last winter and were all smiles about them. I've had KO/KO2's on a pile of vehicles and they are just hard to hear BUT I like General, what they do for the community (big sponsor of Tread Lightly) and the reviews I'm hearing... I may pick up a set.

I didn’t mean to capitalize the word “general.” :) Not referring to General brand.

I meant general-use compared with the KO2 AT. :) Tryingvto gauge whether the additional swiping of the new KM3 goes very far in assisting the new “mud” tire in areas where the KO2 shined (not KM2 but KO2).

I think the KO2 is 75% that of the KM2 offroad but costs less and lasts twice as long. Best bang for the buck no doubt. I've not had AT's on my BJ74 and it's the one that gets used the most in Moab and technical trails fwiw

Just got these mounted up. Heading out to camp and wheel to give them a good test. They look great and are quieter than the MT Baja ATZs that came off, but I can feel the extra weight for sure.

I thought you were selling the Tacoma?

Let me know how the KM3s work out. I'm considering them or going back to Toyo MTs for the Troopy

looks like they did away with the 285/70 R18 size for the KM3?

I don't think all the sizes are available at the moment for the KM3's. At their launch they only had the most popular sizes available.

Here’s my write up on the tires which I figured was more appropriate on the Taco board. Long story short - I do not recommend these for the 200. Look through the thread for info on a sidewall failure already.

New KM3s on the truck

Sidewall failure??

Alright, I’m one step closer to having these on the 200. I think they’ll be on by Sunday night after the suspension work and bumper are on.

Yes unfortunately. I’m getting it replaced tomorrow so looking forward to seeing what it looks like on the other side.

Wow.

Do you know what it hit that caused the failure? Was it deflated and pinched? Or just plain slashed?
Could you determine what did it?
