Hey all,

I posted this in the for sale thread last week and nobody seemed particularly interested, but I will try again. Not looking for criticisms, just takers. Also, I'm not making money off of this, just basically looking to bundle shipping with some other local folks.

I talked to @cruzerDave that is making them, and even though he has closed the Jan Group buy, he said he would give me a day or so to rustle up any late takers. They are $599 a set, but I am working on a different shipping option that will reduce the cost for freight (~150 per set from OR), especially if there are multiple kits in the same shipment. They would come to me, then I would mudship them the last leg of the journey via Albatross Standard Ground.

Keep It Simple Storage (KISS) Drawers
Keep It Simple Storage (KISS) Drawers - Jan 2017

They are available for 80 and 100 series. The cost isn't cheap at 599 a set, but I think it is a good value since the R&D is done and you won't have to waste time figuring too much out. There aren't any other options (I know of) other than straight DIY near this price point. The materials seem to be good quality (baltic birch, extruded aluminum and UHMW slide) and are well thought out, but the assembly and finishing is up to you; it's more of a kit than a turnkey solution. But if I'm being honest with myself, if I have to completely make my own from scratch, it will never get done, and I'll probably not justify/spend $1500 plus for a set of ARB rolltops, so this makes sense for me.

If you want in or are even mostly interested, message me and let me and/or Dave know by Tuesday 2/7.

Jason, thanks for putting this out....I am interested as like you, if i was to make this from scratch, it would never get done. My plan is to buy a locked 80 in the next 6 months and make it my trail vehicle and this addition will be on the list. I'm just not sure that buying this before the vehicle purchase (as what i buy may already have a setup like this) is a wise thing to do! So on the sidelines I will sit.....

These are built and ready to ship (for 80 series, no handhole cutout, cut your own or use a handle of your choice). I will end up shipping these fedex from OR as individuals, rather than palletized, but I get a good rate (approx $106 ea to my door overnighted YMMV).

I have 2 of these available. I bought 3 total to help meet the MOQ for the group buy (you know how people will get cold feet on group buys sometimes) and I figured somebody near me would want something like this. I was going to do something complex and shady with the shipping to make it essentially free but I decided not to.

I'm not looking to make any money back or subsidize my purchase, what I paid is what you will pay plus shipping to your door (PM for the final cost).

If you 100% want it, but are tight on funds or just skeptical and want to do some installments, trades or something I am open to that. You must be a reputable ONSC, LCLC or UC member/affiliate that someone I know can vouch for.

Thanks!

Almost there!

Well daggum. It'll be a while before I do any drawers or sliders though. Just not in the budget at the moment.

I've been seriously looking at these.

I saw a set in person and was very impressed.

My 2 extras have been resold, but he is always taking pre-orders.

I have my kitchen stuff in one and recovery/tools in the other.

Duuuuuuuude! Nice Fridge slide! Is that a Jason Custom?

That load spotter is really slick, but man... pricey. I'm sure it's justified cost, I've not seen anything like it.

Seems like the cheapest way to get drawers made for your rig. Kinda like the 4x4 labs or drawers.

The slide is a Tembo Tusk Loadspotter that was an @AndrewHadji surplus item

It's ridiculous, but nobody makes them here. There are several options in AUS, but they won't ship. I thought about DIYing it, but I don't have the time or a welder. I'm sure it took time for him to design and build it right. Little aggravated though, as the little yellow slide release broke off on me tonight, so I have to fix that sometime. It was a must so that my wife will hate my truck less. She is hard to impress when it comes to truck doohickies.
