Located on driver side attached to the frame rail. Has a shroud over it. Find that and look up in the holes you'll see the hex heads. The system controls body roll and helps keep wheels on the ground when under articulation / offroad. Google it and there's Toyota made videos to explain in detail.
Carl, here's a good explanation of KDSS...
I would use either Blaster corrosion stop or fluid film. In my testing Blaster worked a little better when the metal was subjected to frequent water spraying.Thinking of spraying white lithium or silicone, which one would be the best?
I believe that is for running board lights of the LX.I finally got off my but and looked under there. Didn't look too bad. Recently got a lift, so they must have been able to move them. I'm gonna do some preventive maintenance anyway. Appreciate the info and advice.
I did notice though, attached to the shroud where the valve screws are, a small wire connector, that was unplugged....anyone know what that is?
Sorry to revive an old thread and go offtopic, but I'm trying to install a lift on my GX470 and the holes on the bottom where the shutter valves would be have no allen bolt in them. California car so very clean but it's just a machined hole and nothing in it. Did some of these come without shutter valves?
