Started getting paranoid about a 13yr old LX being my only vehicle (I'm very good at justifying stupid car purchases), so in my infinite wisdom I bought a 12 yr old 740 li - I load the miles on the BMW given it's worth next to nothing. The Kubota is my favorite to drive because I can drink beer and mow grass at the same time.View attachment 3640335View attachment 3640336
My brother just got one of those Beemers. Super cheap too. Just needed some TLC and some ingnitors or something like that.

2011 M3 (Comp Package). I have owned this for over six years.

This gets driven only in fair weather/summer time and hibernates. I have not driven it since like October since we are in an eternal winter in Utah.

Recently imported and sold a Diesel Surf and a Prado.

Nice E90. My '11 E90 M3 "Stripper" in Le Mans Blue over Speed Cloth. There's just something about a V8 that revs to 8,400 with three pedals...

2017 BMW X5 35i Xdrive ~110k miles. Pretty much the best I car I have ever owned. Roomy inside, 320hp/320 lb-ft, fits 5 comfortably and can smoke most others cars on the road when needed. Thankfully it has been incredibly reliable too.
Seats are surprisingly comfortable for long drives, despite being pretty firm, 4 zone climate control and front and rear heated seats are hard to beat and it has a proper tailgate too!

If you ever decide to let this one go please reach out. This is THE spec for me.
This was a tough one to find - took about a decade or so to locate. I had a Jet Black one with zero options that was also a 2011, but it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for (and some distracted teen totaled it out any way).

Only 185 Le Mans Blue E90 M3s were made through the E90 lifecycle if you disregard options. Most people went for Interlagos Blue (more of a purple undertone), but I wanted LMB. This is a true one of one with its spec. No navigation (single hump), no sunroof (slick top), manual, Speed Cloth interior, and Le Mans Blue. I believe the only “options” are rear back up sensors, folding rear seat, and the wood grain interior. Just got her ceramic coated :)

No nav is the single most important item after it being a manual, compromises can be made on the other items but those two are mandatory. Very nice find!

I've posted twice before in this thread, once with an Audi Q5 PHEV and once with a Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV. Both turned out to be electrically unreliable, something you really don't want in an electrified vehicle. I wanted to stay with something I could run all electric on local trips and use without drama for longer trips. Here in Michigan the EV charging infrastructure is dismal, to put it generously. The RAV4 Prime was perfect for our use case, so my wife used her considerable search and buy skills and found this one. My best guess is that it will be a very long term keeper for us.

Love to see this. Have read LOTS of good things about X5s. Taking a gamble on one this week.

Get ISTA+ setup on a laptop and get the right OBD2 cable (they are cheap) and you can check all the computers and have the workshop manual as part of the tool as well.
