Just a little update.
Replaced the tired 32x11.5r15 Klever MT r15's with MAXXIS 285/75r16 mounted on 16x8 rims. Funny story: I bought a set of OEM FJ40, 15x5.5 rims to be mounted on a 33x10.5 r15's with me to South America but no tire shop carried a 33x10.5 r15. A friend of mine got me a set of Steelies from a series 70.

Soon I will be replacing those RATTLING aftermarket mirrors with "Euro mirrors" from Japan along with the gaskets provided by CITY RACER LLC

The mirrors and rear taillights arrived and are installed. I was thinking of getting a aftermarket rear bumper, but the more I look at the stock bumper with the build-in step, the more I like it. Getting slowly ready to be imported into the East Coast (home).

....Just got a pm from my wife, stating that in order to pass inspection in S.A. the FJ needs a set of tie-rods. It was a relief because there they check the car completely and they only found a problem with the outer right tie rod and the rod that connects to the pitman arm. Because they do not carry fj 62 tie rods in S.A., I need to send a set from here, N.Y.

The tie rods, front and rear sway bar bushings, and the blinker are being installed at the moment. Original blinkers are just too fast

Old rear hoop removed, new rear cage along with 33r10.5 r 15 BFG tires with new WH 2.5 suspension lift.

Need some help with these wheels. I really would like to use the FJ40 OEM center hubcaps. would it be possible to use the clips on this wheel to be able to use those FJ40 center hubcaps? This wheel is 70 series steely.

There was a little rubbing on the passenger wheel well after a full left turn. The bushings needed to be replaced and an extra leave was added on. Pictures of the FJ was sent to me today and It seems it has a slight rake on the rear. tomorrow they will add a leaf to the rear to even or even make the rear higher by 1cm. Looking forward to drive it in late April.

Just received the Precision brand seals for all doors, windows and rear upper lower gate. Rock Auto had the lowest prices on the seals.
and just ordered the weld pinch trim, just enough for the four doors and the rear gate. It should keep the noise down and the AC cold.

After trying for a long time to find flares , I gave up, but I like it more without them. The wheels came off a FJ70, which there are plenty in South America.
