I would like the blinker markers from the dash, along with the headlight switch, throttle and choke cables, ......and the glovebox door.;) With a stubby 17mm open end, you should be able to pull those out pretty fast. Thanks

I've never seen a firewall mat for a 45 before. That is COOL! Hope that goes to someone who plans on driving their LV a LOT [like someone I know ;)]

It really would have made a good resto candidate.:frown:
 
just a note on chroming, I got a friend setting up a business that does the spray silver rechroming,,, so those de chroming parts may still be valuable and salvagable
 
I would like the following parts please:

1. Lift gate slides (2)
2. tail light rubber gaskets if they are not rotted (L&R)
3. tail gate latch just above where the license plate goes. fairly fragile part but comes off easy so be careful once you pull it.
4. little hinge pivot thingy's that the vent windows use to pivot on that are screwed to the door frame. Two little tiny phillips head screws and they are off. (L&R)

More than happy to pay for your time. If too busy let me know if we should call the yard directly if they will even pull any parts? Thanks, Mark

yes its OEM and just held on with snaps

Alright. Sounds like it's a go for tomorrow morning. I"ll be out there at 8:00am in the mud :lol: it's raining like crazy today so it should deter people from going there today at least.

I've got the list I'll post up here, and put in order of what I was asked to get from each person. Then you can fight amongst yourselves if there is something you all want.

Mark, is yours a newer or older style? I was of the impression that the '67 like mine has a cast vent window pivot and the older ones have a formed steel pivot. I have a spare formed steel vent window as I was able to get the correct cast pivots for my truck. Let me know if you're interested.

Ok guys. I"m back. Went out there saturday and pulled what I could. I'll have to get my camera at lunch as I forgot it this morning. :rolleyes:

Here's the list of schtuff I got from the 45. Quite a bit was REALLY rusted on or missing. I'll get the pics up early morning or after lunch.

I grabbed a few extras as well.

Front bib lights, under headlights. good shape, clear
turn signal lenses' 1 orange, 1 amber

ben your a sweetheart! thanks for your hard work. how bad are the doors? or won't they come off? and side steps, the same thing? let me know the damage.

are you going back out again? do you have the ability it cut out some sheet metal?
