Google says 4hrs and some minutes from Holly Springs to SN. I made it 5 hours with 30 minutes for a late breakfast and to arrive 30 minutes early or provide a buffer. Either way, the plan is to final pack Thursday and head out at 9am on Friday. My Cruiser doesn't get 20mpg like some do.
I plan to caravan out with Johnny, waiting for him to decide on meeting point and time around RDU. I am fine going speed limit/70mph the whole way, relax and enjoy the drive!
The 4 of us from Upstate Cruisers are bringing our 80's (1 LX450)....what else will be on the trip? Also, is there an opportunity for swimming?
Good question JT! I believe we can swim at the waterfalls.

@little_joe @AndrewHadji and @lumbee1 looks like your route would normally take you out 64 to 421 up to 40 in Greensboro, but taking 540 all the way up to 147, then to 40 only adds two minutes. Would y'all be cool with meeting at Sheetz in Morrisville on Aviation (1600 Aviation Pkwy, Morrisville, NC 27560) at 9:00am tomorrow?

I was planning 40 all the way, 64/421 is hit or miss with traffic. Can we meet closer to 40 maybe? How about the sheets on Aviation? Or something off of 40. This works too but ill have to jump off 40 to hit you

Gotcha, because you're not in Holly Springs, you're down closer to Clayton where 40 heads south.
